Publisher's summary

When female wolf shifter Taryn Warner first encounters Trey Coleman, an alpha male wolf shifter with a dangerous reputation, she’s determined to resist his charms. After all, Trey - who was only fourteen when he defeated his own father in a duel, winning the right to be alpha of his pack - can’t have anything to offer the talented healer besides trouble, or so she thinks. Taryn finds herself drawn in by Trey’s forceful demeanor and arctic-blue eyes, and she eventually agrees to enter an uneasy alliance with him. If the two succeed in convincing their respective packs that they’ve chosen each other as mates, Trey will win valuable political allies, while Taryn will escape an odious arranged mating.

But there are a lot of potential pitfalls to this plan - including the very real possibility that the wolf shifters, overwhelmed by their growing attraction to each other, will be unable to maintain the clear heads needed to pull off the deception.

What a hoot!

I just loved this story, its not for the sensitive. The sex scenes and dirty talk might put some off. But it didn't worry me. Both characters are strong minded, strong willed and fierce, so floaty frilly bedroom scenes wouldn't have worked. Tarryn had me in tears with her snarky comments. The bit with the elephant, then calling the stupid she wolf an STD but best of all was telling Greta to pull her lip over her head and swallow. It was too good.

Both characters have dealt with their respective traumas and its moulded them into shifters not to be underestimated. The pack members are a cohesive unit but filled with delightful characters.

The narration was seriously good too, Suzanne Wright has another book in this series, plus some vamp offerings. I hope these get recorded. I can't wait.

Wow!! Very Very hot

Wow!!! What an awesome find! This book was fantastic. It had 2 wonderful characters in Trey and Taryn and a whole host of fabulous supporting characters. I'm very happy to hear that it's been picked up and will continue into a series. Trey is an uber alpha male (literally) and Taryn is tough as nails, but so funny and sweet too. There was tons of angst, drama and the sex- Oh Lord! The scenes were smoking hot!!! I loved every minute and glad to find another author to put in my "must read" category.

Absolute porn with annoying male dominance

This book made me uncomfortable and not in a good way. There were passages where I enjoyed the characters and story. I did not enjoy the fighting between the male and female for dominance. It irritated me. The sex scenes were something you would read in a porn magazine. It was more erotic lit than romance. I am not a romance reader - I like books that include an element of romance but have an actual story. I didn't care too much for this story. The narrator seemed slightly off as well.

Steam should emit from this book!!!

I started reading this book because of the reviews that I read. Majority of them praised the Suzanne for being a fantastic story teller. I’m extremely happy I decided to plug in my ear buds and listen. The main characters of the story are amazing; Taryn and Trey are both wolf shifters.

Taryn is a sarcastic, no nonsense, latent wolf shifter that doesn’t tolerate anyone’s crap. Being a latent wolf shifter means she is unable to shift into her wolf form, which people tend to mistake as a weakness. It is not. I think this gives her more strength to prove herself as a wolf shifter and an alpha female.

Trey is an alpha male of his own pack. He was label as a psychotic wolf early in life because he has a tendency to become feral when in his wolf form. When Trey is feral the animal nature overrides his humanity and he loses Trey within the wolf. He was exiled from his pack by his own father as a kid and forced to grow up fast, to lead his own pack.

The plot, Taryn is unwillingly forced into an engagement that she didn’t chose nor does she want. Trey is in need of some very strong and powerful allies, which Taryn father has both. They decided to help each other with their individual problems.

The story keeps at an excited pace, that doesn’t let the listener get bored or drift off from the book. There is tons of humor and witty dialogue that kept me laughing to myself throughout the book. The interaction between Taryn and Trey’s grandmother is priceless. There are a lot of romance scenes and graphic language throughout the book that I really enjoyed. Some might think they were too excessive but not me.

I enjoyed listening to Jill narration of the book. I think she did a good job distinguishing the voices of the different characters within the book. I hope she does the narration for book 2, as well.

AWESOME COUPLE ...AWESOME STORY !!!

Where does Feral Sins rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I loved this book ! Not too much into the "paranormal" love series but this was a GREAT starter to something I may totally enjoy! I had a hard time turning this book off, constantly wanting to keep going and definitely didn't want it to end ! Great suspense leading up to a great battle at the end ! The narration was excellent and made each character totally individual and loved this ALPHA female , Taryn ! Trey and her were HOT HOT HOT!
Can't wait for the second book to come to Audible ....hurry !!!!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely !

Any additional comments?

Well worth a credit ...and I got it on sale !!!

Glad this is not my first Shifter book

Really enjoyed this book, love a strong female character with a strong male character. The humor and sarcasm are fantastic and the sex is steamy! If this had been my first Shifter novel I would have been a little lost about the culture, the author does not go into a lot of details on Shifters. If you have read a lot of these books you may not mind, if it is a first for you may be a little lost.
Jill Redfield is a great narrator!
If you enjoyed this book I would recommend Patricia Briggs, Mercy Thompson series.

Werewolf-story with dominant / submissive sex

Is there anything you would change about this book?

First, I would like the change the sentences, because they are too short and choppy. At least in the beginning of the book I found this disturbing. To add more elaborate vocabulary would also improve the reading experience.

What was most disappointing about Suzanne Wright’s story?

Some of the description of the sex scenes are like rape with consent. Its annoying and boring after a while to listen to a story in which a man always wants to control, lead and dominate the sexual activity and a woman whimpers and has to let things happen, sometimes with struggle and sometimes without. Stupid game!!!!

SERIOUSLY GREAT

Would you consider the audio edition of Feral Sins to be better than the print version?

Eh, I have the kindle and audio only because it was cheaper to get both then one or the other... haha so preference.

What did you like best about this story?

It kept me reading and thinking about it when I wasn't reading(listening_) Seriously just a great story, I didn't see any of it coming...Which is awesome usually in books like this you can see all the trials a mile away.

What does Jill Redfield bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love her voice, she made the audio version. So much so when I did read I only heard her voice in my head.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Sometimes, Love isn't what you thought it was
