Great Addition To The Series

Love books written by Marie Force and this series does not disappoint. This series is spot on. Could not put it down and I am counting
the days until the next book comes out.
Once you listen to the first book you are hooked and have to get the rest. I love Nick and Sam. This series has suspence, romance
and humor. It very well written.
Sam is a police Lieutenant with the Washington, DC police department and Nick is a Senator . Sams cases always have a lot of twists
and turns and you see how Nick learns to live with her work. Their relationship is about how the two try and make their lives work with
two entirely different careers and their love for each other. All the books are my favorite. It is hard to pick just one.

Hilarious but still a great read

I love how she doesn't have time to plan her wedding but still drive the wedding planner crazy. This is a good addition to the series even though it is a shorter story. Nothing seems to go right in their relationship because every case comes between them but Sam and Nick make it work.

Lovin This Series

First I read the Gannsett series then I read the green Mtn. series. I loved them both. I looked at the Fatal series for awhile thinking it wasn't for me. I love this series too. Every book is a 5 star winner. Can't wait to read the rest of the series. Definitely worth a credit.

At last!!

At last the wedding fans of the series have been waiting for. Well done and this novella ties off a few threads and unravels quite a few more making it a must read part of the series.

Violence Has Not Started

Cute story of the week leading up to Sam & Nick's wedding, before their relationship spiraled into domestic abuse (book 5).

I enjoyed Sam's sardonic and assertive personality and the way Nick appeared to admire her strength and accept her flaws.

I like when a male "hero" isn't intimidated by a smart, professional & independent "heroine", unlike the so-called alpha males so popular in recent fiction.

It's incredibly disappointing that, in later books, Marie Force changed the dynamics of Nick and Sam's relationship from an equal, respectful partnership to violent and degrading.
