Publisher's summary

You think your job is tedious? Try being the Harbinger of Evil for a day. I dare you....

What's the Devil to do when his fire no longer burns away his sins and Fate is screwing with his...well, fate? Easy - lie, cheat, steal, and dictate my questionably accurate autobiography-slash-romance-novel to my unwilling and outstandingly rude Vampyre niece. Welcome to my Hell.

A mysterious darkness is gunning for me and this time it might prevail, but I have little time to worry about that. Instead of seeking it out, I shall simply go about business as usual. If it's fated, it will find me.

My list is long. Traveling to Earth to promote my best-selling romance novel at an alarming book convention where I must protect my privates from the rabid lady readers is enough to frighten even the Devil. Not to mention, I have to avoid my insane mother like the plague and catch the smart-mouthed, gorgeous soul seller on Earth - who may or may not be someone I'd like to keep.

So today is a day like any other. Punishments must be doled out and chaos must be encouraged. A vacation would be lovely, but there is no rest for the weary...or the evil. Luckily I know how to have an outstanding time doing outrageously bad things. Thank Hades, I'm a handsome bastard.

There is no fated happily ever after for the Prince of Darkness, no matter what ridiculous ending my niece slaps onto my autobiography.

Or is there?

Fate is a bitch, but she usually gets it right.

Another excellent book

I absolutely loved this story from start to finish. I just wish it was longer. I just couldn't get enough. Especially of the scenes with Astrid working with her uncle Lucifer and her colorful ways to express things. The family interactions are always so funny and I died laughing during the scenes with the other authors in it and how they kept messing up Janet Evanivich's name. I was so there with Astrid and her favorite authors. We have the same amazing taste. The narrator did an excellent job as well. He interpretation of all the characters is so well done, it just adds so much to the performance and the overall enjoyment of the book.

Thank you, I can't wait for more!

Hearing my name in an audiobook was surreal!

This was a great book from Satan’s perspective. He’s always been one of my favorites so I was excited when I found out he got to fully run the show this time (well as much as he could anyway). When I heard my name, Adrielle, come through the first time I jumped and replayed the part to make sure I wasn’t hearing things. It was odd at certain parts when Satan said my name, especially in the bedroom, but overall very cool to have it be used in a novel. Plus as a beautiful kick ass siren no less, I’m very happy with the character choice, even if she is a little insane. Usually the best ones are! I am curious where Robin came across the name - my mom made mine with family names and a few others added in she liked.

Overall a good read in the crazy Hot Damned series. On to the next!

Disappointed

I’ve listened to the whole series laughing out loud the whole way. That is up to this one. Maybe it was the narration and delivery or the actual storyline but it was lacking in humor and in steaminess. It also ends on sort of a cliffhanger or more like incomplete story line.

Either way I wasn’t thrilled with this one

Seriously hilarious.

This was real funny but very serious. I love Lucifer character and now he finds love. Interesting twist to the game.

Chicks sounded a bit male, and it's a cliffhanger

Okay, maybe I am a bit twisted, but I adored ALL of these books. I seriously bought 1-9 in a span of about 2 weeks. I could NOT get enough! The absurd things that come out of these characters mouths is not only funny, blasphemous, outlandish, idiotic and something downright horrible, they crack me up in the best way! I told my co-workers about these books and they just couldn't believe it, then I read them the pitch from the audible website and they bent over laughing so hard they begged me to stop talking. These books are AWESOME! If you love book 1 just download all of them.

This review will be repeated NO more times :- )

P.S. I was a bit ticked this was a cliffhanger, sort of. The relationship wasn't resolved, there was no HEA, but you can be sure I will gladly purchase all the other books when they come out.

Bad Boy HEA!

Love the pull of mythology with comedy. Mother Nature remains one of my favorites. Hope to see her smacking someone else around soon. This book was a riot.

Excellent

I love the series, and this is the second one from the viewpoint of a man, and also narrated by the man. Really enjoyed that.
