Publisher's Summary

Nebraska born and bred Navy SEAL Calvin "Coop" Cooper, after his own family has perished in a tornado, is ordered to meet the family of a prominent San Diego psychiatrist. The doctor's brother is a fallen SEAL medic who died in Grenada. There, Cooper meets Libby Brownlee, the beautiful niece of this fallen hero. Heavily influenced by her father, "We don't speak military here," is her comment about the military in general, and the SEAL community in particular. What starts out as a frosty debate between two people privately dealing with their own personal grief, turns into a passionate affair neither expected. Just as Cooper realizes perhaps Libby is the woman he's always been looking for, she is snatched out from under him by a psychopathic killer bent on revenge. Dr. Brownlee is forced to rely on Cooper's help, along with his buddies in SEAL Team 3. Will Cooper be able to survive the loss of the woman he loves, or will his self sacrifice be enough to keep her safe?

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, absolutely! I have been a fan of Sharon Hamilton for years now and each book is better than the last.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the obvious chemistry between Coop and Libby, which of course they deny.

What does J. D. Hart bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love J.D. narrattions. He brings the story to life in a way in I wouldn't be able to do reading the book on my own.

    Any additional comments?

The Seal Brotherhood is one of my favorite series. I love Sharon's descriptive writing and how she brings these heroes to life.

"The unexpected twists will keep you on your toes!"

After losing his entire family to a tornado, Coop is assigned to learn more about the family of a fallen hero. Greeted my a gruff welcome, it's made perfectly clear that the eldest surviing family doesn't wan to dig up the past.
His daugher Libby, is smitten with Coop, and after a recent tragedy of her own, she could use the disctraction!
I'm enjoying this series immensely, as it always keep you guessing and on your toes! I found myself gasping and/or crying at several parts, and can't wait for more!

    Any additional comments?

I enjoyed this audio book and the story line. It doesn't have as much action as the first book but it does have a lot of steamy sex scenes. Coop and Libby meet when he goes to her parents' home to meet the family of a fallen SEAL. Coop's commanding officer wants him to meet the family hoping that it will help him after Coop loses his entire family in a tornado. After misunderstandings, Coop and Libby manage to work through them. Some surprises in the story line but a great story. As usual, J.D. Hart's narration was wonderful. I was provided a free copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

    SEAL Brotherhood Book Two

Libby Brownlee has come home to escape her mentor, who attacked her in his office. She wants a break and to recover from the experience. However, when Navy SEAL Calvin "Coop" Cooper shows up on Libby's doorstep to talk to her father, Libby's world is changed forever. Coop has lost his family in a devastating natural disaster and is ordered to speak to the family of a fallen SEAL. When he meets Libby, he is intrigued. However, her father is not happy that the Navy is intruding on his life again. When Libby's cat is killed and her family is terrorized, Coop knows he shouldn't get involved but can't stop himself.

If you're looking for a great team of special operators on American soil, this series is for you!

JD Hart knocks it out of the park, again!

    "Excellent Series"

Sharon Hamilton does a stellar job of writing in this book. Her attention to detail draws you in and keeps you hot on the trail of "bad guys", right along with the seal team 3 men. Add in some humor, romance, and steamy get-togethers with the strong women these hot seals choose as their forever gals and you have a winner every time

Would you consider the audio edition of Fallen SEAL Legacy to be better than the print version?

Action packed! Heart breaking moments. Thrills and chills. A sandy beach. A damsel in distress. All kinds of HOTness. And mans best friend. What more could you ask for?? Good lord I don't know but I loved this book! Total 5 * but I'd give it more if I could. I love Coop, he's a big bear of a man that's a teddy bear inside when it counts.

    Story
"Not as exciting as book 1, but still enjoyable :)"

I'd like to first comment on J.D. Hart's narration. While still very good, I was disappointed after having had listened to Accidental SEAL. The voice Cooper has in this book is different from the one he featured in Accidental SEAL. It really bothered me that they were different, especially since I enjoyed the voice he had in Accidental SEAL.

As for the story line, it was enjoyable. Cooper and Libby's romance was sweeter and less tumultuous than Kyle and Christy's. Cooper spends far less time fighting his feelings for Libby and Libby also is far more accepting of hers for Cooper (as opposed to Christy, who struggled with hers for Kyle a bit). Neither Cooper nor Libby went back and forth between hot and cold like Kyle and Christy frequently did. That being said, the story line itself was also something new.

The threat to Libby and her family was much closer and more intimate. One thing that bugged me in respect to this was that, although he turned out not to be the one doing the horrible things, we don't really know what happens to the pedophile doctor. Additionally, with both Accidental SEAL and Fallen SEAL Legacy, the only justice we really see is that of the vigilante variety. We don't find out legal justice is enforced or the outcome of such justice for the criminals. While this isn't a huge thing, it is still something I wish I got to see more of.

This antagonist/situation/threat also didn't seem nearly as dangerous as the threat to the characters in Accidental SEAL. Fallen SEAL Legacy had less action than Accidental SEAL. In the same vein, there wasn't much violence in this book by comparison. While the majority of the book was quite as exciting, Libby's rescue definitely still is.

Having said all of that, I did enjoy this book. The romance between Cooper and Libby is sweet and interspersed with many steamy sex scenes. I also really appreciated the dynamic between Cooper and Dr. Browning (Libby's dad). The tension between the two from the start makes their sit down after the gala that much better. It's then that we find out exactly why Dr. Browning has been treating Cooper with such disdain and Cooper reveals his reason for not drinking to Dr. Browning. It's a touching scene between the two men that completely turns their relationship and the way they see each other around. I found it very gratifying to finally see everybody on the same page in respect to Cooper and his relationship to Libby.

Overall, a good book and one I enjoyed. Despite the threat to Libby and her family, I wouldn't describe any part of the book as dark. This is definitely a lighter read with a HEA ending and no cliffhanger. I definitely plan on continuing the SEAL Brotherhood series with SEAL Under Covers.

    "Amazing!"

Absolutely loved the book. The characters were amusing, delightful, and real. I loved the togetherness of Libby's family. Many stories families are there; however, they are not in the stories much doing their parent things. I really enjoyed how Libby's parents were a family, they were there when she needed them and they were parents.
Coop was delicious. His male mindset was different. To voice his male opinions about himself was refreshingly amusing and true.
I adore and love Libby. Her inter strength was silence, but showed when needed. Coop and Libby really did complete each other as friends and as lovers should. I really enjoyed this story and to hear J. D. Hart narration was very enjoyable and his delightful voice kept me interested in the story. again, I Absolutely loved this book.

"Love finds you when you least expect it!"

I've both read this book and have listened to it on audible. The pairing of Sharon Hamilton's writing and JD Harts's narration is a Powerful Duo! It's always pleasurable to read a book written by Ms Hamilton, but once you experience the expert narration of Mr JD Hart, you'll be ruined for any other narrator. He brings characters to life in a way I never thought possible. There were several laugh out loud moments in this book (Diego makes me laugh) and others that left me with tears silently trickling down my face. Mr Hart adds such an emotional content to Ms Hamilton's masterful writing. If I could give this audible book more than 5 stars, I would!

Calvin "Coop Cooper and Libby Brownlee's story is something that truly touched my heart. I can't imagine the devastating loss that Coop must have felt. Ms Hamilton really found a way to make you feel his despair and hidden grief. Libby experiences the unthinkable at the hands of a trusted mentor. Both think that they aren't relationship material, but as only Ms Hamilton can write a love story there are many twists and turns to their journey of a HEA. The love making was delicious and well written. This is a series that you'll recommend to all of your girlfriends!

The end of their story was beautiful and so heartfelt. It was true to military form.
