Publisher's summary

Grayson Coleman has just moved home to Butler, Vermont after spending years working for a high-powered law firm in Boston. He's looking for a simpler, less stressful existence in the sleepy little mountain town where he grew up with his siblings and Abbott cousins. Once the holidays are over, he plans to hang out a shingle and open a new general law practice. After helping to raise his seven younger siblings, the last thing on Grayson's mind is a family of his own.

Emma Mulvaney is enjoying a break from her reality as a busy single mother in New York City while she and her adorable daughter, Simone, spend the holidays in Vermont with Emma's sister, Lucy, and Lucy's future in-laws, the Abbotts. After meeting Abbott cousin Grayson Coleman and talking to him for hours, Emma is nervous and excited to have dinner alone with him after sharing her deepest, most personal secrets with him.

Will that first night be the start of something new for the jaded lawyer and the selfless single mom or will a holiday week flirtation turn into something much bigger than either of them ever expected?

Come back to Butler, Vermont for more of the charming Abbott family, their matchmaking father and grandfather and of course, Fred the Moose.

The indie-published Butler, Vermont Series is a continuation of Marie's Green Mountain Series with all the things you loved best about that series - Fred the Moose, the boisterous Abbott family, the beautiful Vermont mountain landscape and the sexy romances that set your heart to racing. Green Mountain continues

What did you love best about Every Little Thing?

I love series. You get the opportunity to hear the story of characters from prior books.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

This narrator sounds very young and does not distinguish the varied characters in the book.

Welcome back to Butler, Vermont

This is the first book in the Butler, Vermont series, however, it's actually a continuation of the Green Mountain series which I think about 6 books in. I guess due to some publisher changes or whatever the book had to change series names but it's really one in the same. Same town, same people, and a new couple in love.

This time the story deals with Grayson Coleman, he's one of the Abbott cousins and he has 7 younger siblings so we can no doubt expect quite a few more books in this series.

The only negative thing I will say is I wasn't a big fan of the narrator. This series has gone through quite a few narrators and, to be honest, I wasn't into this one at all. Maybe the next book will have better luck. Don't get me wrong she wasn't horrible, just couldn't catch my attention. I think just lacks voice acting experience, to be honest. She wasn't really that great at character distinction.

So glad we get more Green Mountain Characters!!!

I didn’t realize until the beginning of the book this is a continuation of the Green Mountain series that I love so much. Just with a different series name. I am glad I gave it a shot. I missed these characters.

I like that we got a little of the past characters and new ones as well. Joan Delaware is great for all the female voices and especially the daughters but I didn’t really like her for Grayson she wasn’t bad by any means just wished we had a male narrator for his parts.

Overall I enjoyed and can’t wait to continue this series.

What's up with the narrator?

The narrator sounds like a little girl almost the entire time. Even the male voices were horrible.

Every Little Thing a winner

Joan Delaware did a wonderful narration, so much better than the person that did the lady Green Mountain book!

Love the story. Their love ever wavered.

Great Book, Narrator Issue

I enjoyed the story of Emma and Grayson very much and catching up with the family is always a treat, but the narrator... She did the female voice well but the mail voices were a struggle and Grayson's particularly was awful. I would suggest either the narrator work on her craft before the next book or Marie needs to look for another narrator. Maybe Therese Plummer?

NYC To Butler Deja Vu

This time it's younger sister Emma Mulvaney who meets a hunky mountain man in Butler Vermont and must fight a battle within herself. Does she remain in New York with her father and friends or does she follow her heart and the love of her life to Butler.
If this all sounds too familiar well there does happen to be at least one and a half precedents in the (thus far) seven book series. In book 3, I Saw Her Standing There, it was Emma's older sister Lucy who was seated on the horns of this dilemma. This time the NYC girl falls not for one of the Abbott Brothers but for their first cousin Grayson Coleman. As is the case with his cousins he has the body of a fitness model and the sensitivity of a lady's best girlfriend. As is in the case in book 3 of the series, and to a lesser extent book 1 there is a great deal of overblown angst. Once again a couple struggles to make the right choice between staying in the world you know and taking a chance for love.
I haven't been a real fan of the author before this series but All You Need Is Love, brought me in a major way. Unfortunately the author seems to have a difficult time bringing enough originality to a series to sustain it. I realize that in any series it's difficult to keep it fresh and this is particularly true in the romance genre. So many new romance novels debut every week in Audible that bringing something different even once is a triumph. That being said it is quickly drawing near the point where my affection for the Abbott family will no longer be enough to sustain my interest in the Green Mountain Romances.
