So good!

The story, once again, kept me totally entertained and captivated. Narrator was much better in this one and the first one.

Where does Effortless rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Effortless, ranks in my top 10 favorite series overall and probably top 5 for romance. It kept me in knots, I feel like I know these characters and I want everything to work out. Great job by the author.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love Anna- I don't know if she is my very favorite. She is wild and crazy and it does catch up to her, but she is a great character for the story. Kellan and Kiera are my favorite characters.

Have you listened to any of Rebekkah Ross’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have only listened to her in the first book, Thoughtless. I feel like she gets better with each book.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The tag line? Maybe, "Is love enough, in a long distance relationship." I don't know if that counts as a tag line- but it is how I feel about this book.

It is worth a credit if you are invested in Kellan and Kiera!

Love this series!!!

I read this series of books on my kindle, and was so happy to find out I could listen to it on Audible too. Must read or hear series.

It has got to be in my top 10 favorites!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Kellen! He's worked so hard for everything he has. He is down to earth but deeply flawed. He loves with all his heart.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This one not as much as Thoughtless but there were times I was so angry at what was happening to the characters and how they were manipulated by others.

Not Effortless

What disappointed you about Effortless?

The reader is not very good and to be honest the characters are not interesting at all.

What was most disappointing about S. C. Stephens’s story?

I feel like I am in the middle of someone's plain ordinary life. If read to get out of the ordinary. To be fair I have only listened to about four hours of the book and nothing is hooking me.

How could the performance have been better?

There wasn't much emotion in the read.

Any additional comments?

I had a hard time with the main character. I can only listen to someone who lacks self confidence and thinks that everyone else is better than them for so long. I don't mind a person being modest or plain but this girl found everyone else exotic and nothing about herself interesting. I found her high maintenance in a negative way.

Narrator did great - managed to give each character their own personality without over doing it.

Was Effortless worth the listening time?

Kept hoping the story would pick up... not sure an entire book should have been dedicated to just this story line.

Better then the first one

Still feels like she hurts those two perfect men too much. Needs to treat them better. She kind of redeemed herself with Denny alittle but god she needs to worship Keelan more! This is under erotica so it should have more details in the intimate scenes. Just my opinion.

It just dragged it probably could have been done in 1hour

Characters were fine story just dragged on and on.

It should have been a short story it was dragged out.

What would have made Effortless better?

A better narrator,the monotone made even the good bits tedious and far less detail about furniture, rooms, cars, kyle's great hair and gorgeousness in general.The female character could not have been more indecisive if she tried!

Would you ever listen to anything by S. C. Stephens again?

yes if she starts to edit her work and makes the main character less of a doormat

What didn’t you like about Rebekkah Ross’s performance?

monotone, little expression, flat and when not any of these , whiney.

What character would you cut from Effortless?

the aussie bloke-cant even remember his name,really did he need resurrecting!

Dull and repetitive

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Teenagers or young adults that are new to dating or have friends that are experiencing the emotions of romantic relationships.

What do you think your next listen will be?

I like more adult romance such as Suzanne Brockman and Nora Roberts.

Would you be willing to try another one of Rebekkah Ross’s performances?

No. I am not really a fan of Rebekkah's narration style.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

This book seems to be written for someone much, much younger than me. The only redeeming quality is that with all the repetitiveness and self doubt of the main character, I am a little curious to hear how the story ends -- that is, if I can convince myself to listen until the end.

Wish I could apply the credit I used to purchase this book on something a bit more appealing to my interests.
