Could Kate's ex Jason be more of a D bag- NO!!! I wanted to throttle him for being alive. Kate's had her share of mistakes, but Grayson wasn't one of them! I loved their connection and interactions. Both mc had integrity and strength of character that I admired. Looking forward to more. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review. This is a short listen with a lot of meat to the story in my opinion. I enjoyed that the characters had history and not a romance history but the want did not diminish over time for there to be a romance between them. Her ex was a douche canoe. I would have to slap him at some point or something. Gregory Salinas is one of my favs and does a great job with this one!

Emotional love story
I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. This may be a short story but it is jam packed full of hope and love. Kate and Grayson had been high school sweethearts but then their lives took different paths. They are given a second chance and we learn so much more about their previous hardships. Carrie has written an emotional and heart lifting story. It's one of those stories that you just want to know so much more about the characters. Gregory Salinas does an outstanding job of portraying the emotions and personalities of these characters. He brings the author's words to life. I highly recommend this Audible book.
