Fluffy marshmallows! What a sweet sweet read! 😍 Now I’m very tempted to read the whole ”Dreamspun Beyond” series. I know that lots of people think M.A. Church’s works are a bit too fluffy or whimsical. But I loved her Harvest Series and I sure loved this book too. 😉


Avery is an omega who’s tired of being treated as one. Damn it, he’s not a glass figurine and he never will be. 😁 But his parents just don’t seem to get it. He’s supposed to be proper and elegant and spoiled. And being introduced to potential suitors and his parents trying to marry him off into a wealthy family at his very own birthday celebrating his first adulthood certainly doesn’t help him. 😂 He longs to see the world and yearn for something that he knows he’s always been craving. He just needs some air from that noisy, crowded party so stepping out to the patio for a while sounds like an excellent idea.

Warwick, an ancient dragon, who’s an astute and shrewd businessman has been enjoying his life for a long long time. He has everything he needs, a hoard that’s bigger than anyone else’s, houses, cars, any material he so desires. But he doesn’t get all these privileges by being soft and empathetic and kind. He’s a businessman and he takes care of his money seriously. 😏 So when Alpha Montgomery thinks he can avoid paying back a debt from hundred years ago by not picking up his calls and avoiding his emails, Warwick decided that a visit is due to the Sunset Creek pack. He went there to get his money back and kick everyone out of the land that’s going to become his. What he didn’t expect was to fall for the vey omega whose father owed a lot of money to him. 😉


Despite meeting from undesirable conditions, Avery can’t deny that Warwick is his true mate. That scent, that chocolately and dark and decadent scent calls to him like a siren calling to the sailors. He also knows that he’s the only chance that would save his whole pack from becoming homeless and starting from zero again. Besides, Warwick seems like a nice guy. He’s so much different from everyone in his pack. He genuinely listens to him, try to know about his everyday life and seems to be smitten with him. He has always known that he’d be married off to a suitor that’d benefit the pack one day. So it’s definitely a bonus that the suitor is his true mate. What can possibly go wrong? An ancient and smitten dragon and a rebellious, sassy omega? Sounds good to him! 😁

There’s no angst at all. It’s all about how Warwick and Avery get to know each other and fall in love in the end. You’d think over 200 pages of courting, UST, fluffy sweet writing would overwhelm you but it’s not. 😌 In fact, I’m sad that the book has ended. 😭 I definitely wouldn’t mind reading a follow-up story of these two lovers. 😍 [author: M.A. Church just got everything right on this one. The writing is spot on, the banters are witty and funny and interesting, the relationship dynamic between these two is sizzling. 🔥 And my god, Warwick can kiss! 💋 Those kisses are sizzling! 🔥 I need me someone who can kiss me breathless like Warwick. 😂 *happy sigh* 😌 And the mating rituals of wolves in this world are interesting, realistic and erotic. 😌 I loved all that chase and run stuff. And the consummation of marriage? Sweet Jesus Mama! 😳😱 That was one hell of a hot deflowering! 😁 Who knows dragons are so good in the sack? 😏 The novel is sweet and fluffy but definitely not overly done. I’m begging for the author to write a second book in the series because I want the first row ticket to that show. 👏 And in case if you wondering after my preaching, yup, I really loved this book. 😍 Just what I needed from my recent heavy reads. 😌

Sweet no angst read

This was a sweet story of a alpha dragon & omega werewolf who are true mates. There is no angst in this one. It's all about these two getting to know each other. I loved the chase scene. I also loved when Avery brought Warwick a piece of the buck that he hunted & killed. That was so sweet sharing his kill with his mate. I want more of these two. They are just so sweet together. My favorite line was <b>“You…. If I had to choose between you and my hoard, I would choose you.”</b> That so gets you in the feels.

I loved this!

This was just fun! No angst. Some cute dialog. Some magic. Some flying. Some super hot fated mate dragon s*x! And some family BS – but really – most of this was just these two guys finding love and being cute together!

I loved every second of it and highly recommend it for shifter fans everywhere!

Audio

Dorian Bane is really good with accents and making each character unique. He excels at dialog and handles the pacing of action and emotions well.

I don’t love his narration of the non-dialog parts as much as his dialog – he sometimes comes across a little “sing-songy” but it’s not a big distraction.

In general I think this is a great way to experience this story and I recommend it!

I love this story so much

this story is one of my favorite it makes you want to abandon all sense of knowledge because it makes you so horny in certain spots that I just cannot hold back I love this story so much that I think you will like it too especially if you're a gay man I really think that all of this story is so good that I wish it would keep going I would love to know what happened to the two couple the couple in the story because of there so much more to figure out in their character development I loved it I cannot wait I wonder if they even had the opportunity to have children or at least adopt children so if you really really need a time of non thinking but about romance and love and maybe one day if you're the only person to have it to this is the story for you I love the story and when I'm in a bad mood this is the store I go to I love the characters I love all of a little quit in it and it is innocent love but yet to come passionate love so I hope you guys enjoy please I hope this help please give us a chance to dragons horde

Cute entertaining book

first time ive excitedly listened to different scenes over and over again in a while. Its a great book. I only wish it was longer. I want to see more of this couple.

OMG

I totally loved the story line and the moral lesson that is so needed in the current climate. Don’t borrow more than what you’ll be able to pay back with interest.
This is adult fairytale with a happy ending. I totally enjoyed it and I strongly encourage the to continue the excellent work.

I love the story, but I hate Avery’s voice. He sounds like a frat boy, which doesn’t fit him at all in my opinion. The narrator was not great

Great Dragon.

Dorian Bane did a fantastic job. Dorian will be the voice in your head whenever you picture a noble historical figure. He dows growly dragons
with flair. This tale of a dragon and werewolf was sweet.
A dragon flying at night with a werewolf. Fun times.
A very enjoyable audiobook.

Great performance; sweet story

This is a very fun, sweet listen. Not much drama, angst or conflict, almost none. Just a sweet romance between a dragon and wolf shifter. I bought it because I love Dorian Bane and he certainly delivers in elevating this story. His performance is spot on. I would love to hear more from Warwick and Avery.
