One girl. Twin brothers. An uncommon triangle.
When college student Olivia Townsend returned home to help her father run his business, she never imagined a complication like Cash and Nash Davenport - twin brothers different in so many ways but with one thing in common: an uncontrollable desire for Olivia.
Cash is dangerous, sexy, and bad to the bone - a man whose kisses make Olivia forget she is playing with fire. Nash is successful, reliable, and intensely passionate - and already taken. But all it takes is one soft stroke to make Olivia forget he belongs to someone else.
However, Olivia is in for a surprise. These boys have a secret that should make her run away as far and as fast as she can. If only it wasn’t too late. A sensual game between three players has begun, and it’s about to spin deliriously out of control.
This book was a bit predictable but it was still delicious! I was hesitant when I heard about a love triangle. Olivia is a country girl whose in her senior year of college, working as a bartender, never willing to abandon her father like her mom did, currently renting/ living with her spoiled bitchy cousin. Olivia has sworn to stay away from the bad boy type because of failed past relationships. Of course, she finds herself drawn to her cousin's sexy perfect smart boyfriend named Nash & his ultimate sexy bad boy twin named Cash. She wants Cash but knows that Nash is who she should be with. Unfortunately, Nash is taken. This book has a definite twist and ends with a much hated cliffhanger! Overall it was still worthy of a credit. Glad to see the second book will be released by Audible soon.

Olivia is going to school and working in order to get her Accounting degree to go back to her family farm to help run it with her father. Olivia has moved into her wealthy cousins house Marissa, who is a spoiled brat and is unhappy having Olivia in her space. Olivia is out at a club one night celebrating her friends bachelorette when under embarrassing circumstances she meets the bar owner Cash. The next morning Olivia wakes up to find Cash in the kitchen kissing her roommate Marissa. Only to find out that Cash is a identical twin and the one kissing Marissa is actually Nash. Cash is the bad boy and Nash is the good guy. Olivia starts developing feelings for them both. While she is drawn to Cash with her heart her head says she should be with Nash because he is the better guy only to find out that there is a secret they are hiding.
I listened to this book on audio and I enjoyed it. I felt like the story was really getting going as it ended and I am looking forward to listening to the second book in the series to see how things go between Olivia and the brothers. I liked the characters but am hoping to get more in depth with them in the next book as well. The narrators were ok but not the best that I have heard.
I give this story 3 stars.

I have not read this author previously and was nicely surprises. I think this book keeps you guessing a bit and has a unique plot twist. The Cash and Nash names were a bit much. You would think that she could come up with something better than that. Overall I liked the chemistry between the characters and the struggle to choose. Good listen and I've ordered book 2.

I don't typically enjoy romantic love triangles but this one involves two hot brothers and one heck of a twist. This was a fun, sexy and surprising listen. Overall I really enjoyed this book and the dual narration was excellent.
There is a small cliffhanger at the end but thankfully book 2 is coming soon!
Definitely worth the purchase. 4stars!

What would have made Down to You better?
A less predictable storyline, better narration, etc.
Would you ever listen to anything by M. Leighton again?
Yes, maybe, if the book was cheap. I think with audiobooks, a lot of the time the narrators can make or break the experience. If you don't like listening to them, you're kind of out of luck with the story, because it detracts from the whole.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The girl was fine I guess. I think she was annoying to me because the character was annoying. So fine, she did her job. The man irked me because the character he was portraying was supposed to be this tough, deep-voiced, sort of alpha male, while the narrator was higher pitched and it just didn't work.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Down to You?
It's hard to pick certain scenes. The story kept changing and escalating into completely different things. It started as one story, then all of a sudden there was a whole new mob plotline...
Any additional comments?
Some people really might enjoy this one, it just wasn't for me.

This was a fun, sexy and very addicting book to listen to. I liked the alternating chapters read with a female voice for Olivia and the male voice for Cash and Nash. There wasn't a surprise twist for me...it was what I thought. I still liked it though (-:

Oh.... such decisions, decisions, decisions.... Handsome, sexy, tattooed, biker bad boy and Club owner Cash or his charming, intelligent, successful, grounded and equally handsome Lawyer brother Nash. For me it was such a dilemma..... Cash no Nash no Cash no Nash (well you get the picture) but in the end I just couldn't choose and maybe the well known saying of 'if you snooze you lose' should actually be "if you choose you lose".
Cash and Nash's stories are all entwined with Olivia's as this very addictive scorching love triangle plays out and it'll have you fanning yourself with such lines like "Did you think of my lips when he kissed you". It's filled with loveable characters delivering witty banter, creating sexual tension, with a double dose of hot romance, plenty of drama, plus there's mystery and..... a cliffhanger at the end - phew, what more can a romance lover want.
Worth a credit? I would have happily used a credit for the delish, delectable, devilish Davenport twins but at $7.34 I just bought it. Now all I have to do is patiently wait, drum my fingers and watch the clock until August (hopefully hint hint Audible) for the 2nd in the series 'Up To Me' to be released which is supposed to be 'SCORCHING, INTENSE SHOCKING AND HOT' - sounds just about perfect.

What made the experience of listening to Down to You the most enjoyable?
The humor in the narration....just hilarious!
What did you like best about this story?
I like the shock factor for sure. There were just so many things I was not expecting at all.
Which scene was your favorite?
Ok lets not talk about my favorite scene, instead talk about my favorite character. Ooh I love Ginger. She is a funny, sex happy, floozy who makes the book hysterical.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
There were many times when I laughed. Very good writing.
Any additional comments?
I was quite shocked at how good I found this book to be. The only thing I wish is that it was longer. I enjoyed this reading so much that I went and bought the other two books in the series. You should definitely check this book out!

I like my romance with a twist and this book provides that. The sexual situations are hot. The storyline isn't very deep but it's enjoyable. I will tell you that to continue the story you'll want to get book 2. The story get's better the futher you go into the story and by the end it's really good. These books are so affordable I just purchased them instead of using my credit and I wanted to hear the continuation of the story bad enough that I went ahead and pre-ordered book 2. I think this book is a good solid listen and it was totally worth the purchase price.

What a winner of a story! This was such a great listen, I was hooked from chapter one. It's rich with quick wit, humor, and sentiment, and of course the mysterious and sexy leads keep you guessing throughout. I loved Olivia's character and the relationship she had with the twins. Mmmmm, the twins :-)---I'll take a double scoop of that any day of the week! The twist of the story literally made my mouth drop open--I really didn't have any idea because the book had me so wrapped up in everything else going on.
The narration was good was also good. I enjoyed Kate Rudd a bit more than Benjamin Darcie--even Kate's male voice characterization did more for me than Darcie's actually. I'm looking forward to listening to the remaining books, because clearly I was late to the party with this series; the listener reviews were all positive. Better late than not at all! Highly recommend!
