Love this series. Another winner by Lauren Landish. The narrating team of Tracy Marks and Joe Arden was bang on. They both brought the characters to life . I have fallen in love with this series . Lauren has taken some common elements in life and given them a twist with a romantic side
Heroine is Maggie you meet her in book 1. Hero is Shane .

Maggie is working in a gentlemen club as a waitress. She is actually a shy and demour women on a mission . There is a bouncer that catches her eye and her body quivers just looking at him.
Shane is a bouncer at the gentlemen club where Maggie works. Shane usually doesn’t let any women get to him . There is just something about Maggie that just draws him to her . He sees how other guys look at Maggie and he wants to put them in their place .Thing is Shane is on a mission also . Grab it and see what their mission is

Love both narrators. Tracy nails this one again like she did the other 2 . Joe Arden was great as always

Romantic and suspenseful!

Give me a plot with heat and suspense and I am hooked! Book three of the Get Dirty series has plenty of both! Maggie is waitress at a strip club and has caught the interest of bouncer Shane. Unfortunately, they cannot act on the attraction since they are co-workers, so there is a definite slow burn happening between them. When things go down at the club, Shane now is protecting Maggie at all costs and will do anything to keep her safe. Their passion is ready to ignite, and boy does it ever! Lauren Landish has a writing style that is complex in plot yet so easy to listen to. The story is infectious making it unable to be put down. With a few plot twists, some great secondary characters(I loved Allie) and high running passion, this story is a great listen.

Give me Joe Arden as a bad boy any day. His portrayal of Shane is amazing. You can feel the protectiveness he has for Maggie right through his voice and he will make you feel safe! Tracy Marks can make any story alive for me. Her performance of Maggie is impeccable, from the ditzy blond, to the smart,undercover reporter. Together this team knocks it out of the park.

Joe Arden saves this audio book

I read the first two books in the series, and when I saw that Joe Arden was narrating book 3, I one-clicked it. I am almost sorry I did. I really wish that I had read the book first so that I could skip Tracy Marks' chapters and only listen to Joe's. Tracy's dialogue is not bad, and she has a couple of different voices for the female characters that make it so you know who's talking, but her male voices are terrible, and her non-dialogue narration is so completely lacking any kind of natural flow that it is painful to listen to. Her pauses make no sense, and she ends every sentence in an awkward fashion that makes it almost sound like a question. It is baffling and destroys the flow of the story. She also ends words with a "sh" sound. All in all, I will definitely make sure I check the female narrator before I one-click a book. I am really sad I used a credit for this.

Good story female narration made it hard to enjoy

Joe Arden is an amazing narrator. The female narrator made it hard to enjoy. Her voice is fine, but they way she speaks and tells the story is rehearsed, clipped and some “s” sound like “sh”. It’s hard to get in to a story that is not believable due to narration.

Best in the series!

I really liked this one! Good story, good characters and I love Maggie!!! I felt very relatable to her in the second book as well as this one. And I'm pretty sure Shane is my sexy dream fantasies coming true. Ha! Overall it's a great listen.

Hot steamy audible book

I listened to the audible book and really enjoyed it. Maggie is a tabloid writer and is working undercover in a strip club to out celebrities going to the club. Shane is a bouncer and falls for Maggie. Both are hiding major secrets that could tear them apart before they are even together. The club holds even more secrets that now have a killer hunting for her. This book has a lot of twists and turns in it. Oh yes, if you don't like to read hot sexy scenes, don't read this book.

Good Listen

Shane is security at a club where Maggie works, they are attracted to each other but doesn't act on it until they are on the run. They discover that both have secrets that could cost them their lives. Can they survive and stay together. Good Narration.

Good story but predictable- tough Guy & sweet girl

Very predictable but sweet, sexy story with a little action thrown in. It would have had higher marks in the narration if Tracy Marks didn’t end each sentence with a big pause and a down intonation. It takes getting used to and is annoying though her words are very clear. Fortunately there is Joe Arden as the male narrator to balance her less than stellar performance. The pacing is good and there is plenty of character set up for the next book in the series. Probably not worth a full credit due to the Marks performance but ok as a sale book.
