Great book!

I really liked this book. It is definitely better than the first one. I only wish that it was longer!

good book

I was pretty involved to the end even though it was a chick flick.

Great story

I love this series. I have read it a couple of times, and just got the audio book. I like the mix of so many different species, government involvement, possessive alpha, magic, shamans, and of course, visions of mates by the matefinder. This storyline differs from so many others. It is refreshing.

fair Were, Vamp story.

I usually turn off stories where the main protagonist gets too powerful too quickly but the human side story of emotional turmoil allowed me to stay.

More Unbelievable than Volume 1, if thats possible

If you have other books on your list don't bother with this one. For me, I am such a fan of urban fantasy that there are not many choices for me. I had a hard time with volume 1 of this series and it doesn't get any better with this volume.

The reader is difficult to listen to. She does an OK job with the voice of Aurora although every sentence seems to end with an !!! The other characters all sound the same. Imagine a computer voice trying to sound like the wicked witch of the west.

There are many inconsistencies in the story line, lack of true character development and basically silly juvenile plot lines.

I guess if you are 15 years old, this may be a book you might enjoy.

Not as good as the first book

The second book ended pretty much in the same place as the first book. Sure they gained more knowledge but still didn't accomplish the objective that the first book ended on.

Overall good sequel

Overall I really liked the story. Gets a little repetitive in parts. It's worth persevering through the Native American tribal stuff if it's not your thing. It's not my thing, not being from the US and not overly interested in spirituality it was a bit of a struggle. Still a good book though.
