Beautiful & Moving Romance!

I loved this beautiful and moving romance. It is about two people who connect thru a hardship not many understand. But when Madison is too focused on doing her best for her adorable little boys, Ryder easily slips in and shows her how wonderful she is and that she doesn't have to do it alone. Ryder is so sweet and sexy, but had his own issues. Madison is able to make him see his worth and that he is more than what he believes. Ryder and Madison are so perfect together. They challenge each other, make each other stronger and their passion is off the charts!
Wen Ross, and Kai Kennicott deliver a wonderful performance. Several standouts to me were Ross' ability to easily navigated between adult and child voices and Kennicotts heartfelt emotion that had me in tears during one frightening event. Through it all, you could definitely feel the chemistry that smoldered between Madison and Ryder.
This is a poignant, heartwarming and sexy romance that should not be missed!

Sweet and moving Romance

Loved the characters, Madison and Ryker are made for each other, Tyler is hysterical as her best friend and the boys, Aiden and Caleb, are adorable. This is a sweet romance. I can do without the hot, steamy sex scenes but it is a romance novel after all.

The readers did a great job with all the characters, at first I had to adjust to Wen Ross switching to 7 yr old Aiden's voice but as I listened I could picture young Aiden.

I was gifted this audiobook in exchange for my honest review.

A good read!

This novel actually swept me by surprise. With the cover I thought it would be similar to those cheesy erotica storylines... I actually somehow can closely relate to the leading lady being a single mom raising her children alone, one with special needs too. I particularly liked that the voices of the male and female lead characters intertwined on some takes. It’s usually one or the other. The good narration and acting made me visualize the whole story better; they were so entertaining. Thanks so much for sharing this one with me.

Everyone needs a Ryder

OMG! This story is sweet, hot and hilarious all mixed together. You will laugh at Tyler's personality and swoon at the love between Ryder and Madison. My heart melted at the bond formed between Ryder and Aiden. I was on an emotional rollercoaster of feels. Add on top that Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott were the ones assaulting my ears and I was a puddle on the floor. Highly recommend this book!

My Thoughts on Delivered Through the Storm

This story often tugged on my heartstrings but I loved every moment of it. Reading and listening (as I had the amazing audiobook to go with the ebook) to this story of Madison and Ryder was an absolute pleasure. These two characters meet on what could have been any average day in a totally believable scenario. That was one of the first things I loved. The very beginning was realistic. From there the story just took off and I read/listened as the strong single mom who is trying to do the best she can for her kids finds herself falling in love with the handsome delivery man who is caring and gentle and understands her family more than she could have imagined.

Nicole Garcia is becoming an author to watch for me. She writes stories that I can go through in a day, as I did with this one. Not because they're short, but because I can't put them down and I don't want to. And when they're brought to life with amazing narrators like there were for this story, it was a match made in romance story lovers heaven.

Awesome!!!!

I loved this book. The author wrote a moving story with so much emotion and even some fun humor. I thought the narration was perfect, and Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott have such wonderful chemistry. I loved how the author brought to light learning disabilities do not have to be disabilities, just another way of doing something. I found the story to be very heartwarming, sweet, and have exploding ovaries (copying a phrase from the book). Ryder and Madison were lucky to find each other, and were so great with Aiden and Caleb. Mitch was the perfect villain as a dead-beat dad. I cannot praise the performance of Wen Ross enough. He did the best child and adult conversation I have heard in a long time. I was given a review copy of this book and have voluntarily written this review.

Sweet, Charming and Emotional

Nicole Garcia has done it again. I love her words, the way she blends serious subjects with humour and light-heartedness really works well. I couldn’t help but love it. Her writing always captures my attention and my heart. This book was sweet and charming, and emotional. But it was also hilarious. And steamy, oh yes, the steam was there, not that I ever doubted it. This is the perfect single mother story, I haven’t read many, all the single parent stories I seem to come across are single fathers, so this was a nice change. It doesn’t sugar coat Madison’s situation, she’s a struggling single working mum and that shows throughout the story, which only made it more real.
The cover? Holy hotness. I love this cover so much. Especially the gift tag with the narrators' names on the audio edition, that was such a cute touch.

So many wonderful characters in this book. I loved them all… except for Mitch, he’s not nice at all, I hated him.
Ryder is all the things. I want to know why my delivery guy is nothing like him. He’s funny, charming, sexy and caring. The way he is with Mads children is just *swoon* He’s the type of guy every single mother hopes they will meet.
Madison is such a sweet woman, she’s got so much going on, it’s a wonder she’s even functioning. But she is, and she’s caring for her boys and doing all she can, it’s beautiful. I was so happy to see her open herself up to some happiness with Ryder.
The children are the cutest things, especially Aiden, he plays such a pivotal role in their story and I loved how that was conveyed. Oh, oh, and Tyler, he needs a HEA too, he is the sweetest and funniest person ever. I think we all need a Tyler in our lives.

I loved how their relationship built and progressed. It was beautiful. Ryder at first was just into the pretty woman he’d met, nothing wrong with that, but once he spent a little time with Madison it was obvious he was falling for her and her kids. Madison tried to fight it but thankfully Ryder was persistent, and he worked his way into her heart. The children played such a huge part of their relationship and the way that was handled was perfection, the worries Madison had made perfect sense. It didn’t stop me from cursing her though. The little angst was suited to the story and thankfully didn’t last too long.

I do love a duet narration and Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross always deliver. Always! Their voices blend so well together, I was definitely looking forward to hearing how they were going to perform these characters and they were perfect as Madison and Ryder. Wen also did a brilliant job voicing seven-year-old Aiden and I must say, it was those scenes, between Ryder and Aiden that I had the most reactions too. It was just beautiful. Emotional, but beautiful. Kai, I adored how she chose to voice Madison, it was a little deeper than I’m used to hearing from her and it worked really well for the character and showed another side to her talent. As for the steamy moments, sheesh, can these two perform a sex scene with conviction. I listened to this audio in a day, I just couldn't put it down. The production was fine with no issues.

A sweet and touching story

This story centers around Madison and Ryder. Madison is a single Mom of two boys. Aiden, her oldest boy has ADHD and is the sweetest boy. The boys’ Dad, Mitch, sadly, is uncaring.
Ryder is a delivery driver who meets her when he goes to her home to do a delivery. He arrives in the middle of the morning chaos .Ryder ends up helping her with the boys. Ryder's love for the boys was palpable.
They all develop a relationship but not without obstacles.
Beyond the plot, it’s a story about families. Loving families are not always those in which we are born into. Also I appreciated the manner in which the author dealt with learning disabilities.
A touching , heartbreaking, heartwarming and at times funny story.
As much as I enjoyed the story , I found the audiobook rendition did not do the story justice. At times it felt it was over describing what the characters were doing. Especially when it was obvious .This I found distracting. Luckily , I did not let that affect my opinion of the book.
I was gifted this audiobook. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Perfect listen for a snowstorm!

Nicole Garcia writes such warm, wonderfully true to life books, you can't help but get wrapped up in them. The characters of Ryder and Madison are indicative of real circumstances, both are easy to relate to. Madison is the protective mother of her two boys, and Ryder, the man who can make her family a reality. I love Madison, having exactly the same feelings as a mom that I have, doing anything and everything for the happiness and protection of her two small kids. When Ryder, the delivery man intercepts her life, things change for the better. But her arrogant, rude, cheating ex-husband isn't going to stand by and let her and the boys be happy. The question is, will he get the best of her and ruin her relationship with Ryder? Love the supporting character of Madison's best friend Tyler too, he is the kind of friend everyone want to have. Garcia has a way of writing, in such a conversational way that it's like you actually know the characters. With a story including the struggles of children and adults with disabilities, budding relationships and hot sex, you can not go wrong with this listen!

The winning combination of Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott narrate this book with the heartfelt emotion that this story illuminates. Wen gives a stellar performance of the little Aiden, and the chemistry between Ryder and Madison is easily felt with these two telling the story.
