Publisher's Summary

In the third book of the Bluegrass Series, Paige Davies finds her world turned upside down as she becomes involved in her best friends' nightmare. The strong-willed Paige doesn't know which is worse: someone trying to kill her, or losing her dog to the man she loves to hate.

FBI Agent Cole Parker can't decide whether he should strangle or kiss this infuriating woman of his dreams. As he works the case of his career, he finds that love can be tougher than bringing down some of the most powerful men in America.

AWESOME SERIES

If you could sum up Dead Heat in three words, what would they be?

Riveting. Unexpected. Exciting.

Any additional comments?

This whole series follows wonderfully, never a dull moment, and very unexpected! Can't wait to read more!

Another Heart Pounding Hit

What a neat series! My head wanted to spin when I saw these last two book's in the coming soon list. I jumped on them both and put them in my wish list. What a great way to end this particular story by using the main character's of Page and Cole in this episode. I have already listen to them multiple times. I will now be requesting the "Bluegrass Brother's" series. Which continues with Page's 5 brother's. Let's hope Audible will be able to get them for us.

Dead Heat

The narrator does such an amazing job bringing this book to life. He does excellent accents and voices.
I love the romance, suspense, and laughter that Dead Heat had. I was excited after reading books 1 & 2 to see how Paige & Cole's relationship was going to pan out.

Loved this series

As a Kentucky girl I have enjoyed this series ... Narrator did an excellent job with the variety of voices. Kudos to the writer who must be from Kentucky or have connections to have the references correct. I loved each book........,.,,,,,

A suitable ending

Welcome back to all the familiar characters, some new and unexpected twists and of course the conclusion to the terrifying threat hanging over these beautiful and brave women. And welcome back to Eric G Dove who has, yet again, wonderfully captured the characters of this small town.
All the terror and tension was neatly tidied up and readers can feel sad at the thought of the end of this series but at the same time, happy that Brooks has already planted the seeds for the next series.
Brooks has definitely made it to my MUST HAVE list. In fact, I have already got the first two books of the next Bluegrass series waiting in my library!

A fantastic read

Would you consider the audio edition of Dead Heat to be better than the print version?

I loved both the audio and the print version of this book , but with the audio version I could lay in bed a listen to my hearts content with out disturbing anyone else.

I loved when Page and cole finely get together.

What does Eric G. Dove bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Eric G Dove helps put a voice to the characters

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I'm not sure the book moved me but I did enjoy it .
