Very light reading
Good when you want an escape read. I’ve had enough real life challenges that a relaxing time out is a true gift. This has just enough of a storyline with interesting characters and dialogue.
Soudek has a relaxing voice in a lower register that’s easy to listen to. She has just enough variety of voices to keep it interesting but I wish she had fewer mispronunciations. It’s Jil-ee-uhn!

Hot and Cold
Fire dragon Orion Garrison wants Ice dragon Cadence Bergmann, The mating isn't normal, but Cadence isn't interested in being mated to a 700 year old ice dragon cranky old dragon.
Due to the limited number of fertile dragons Cadence is wanted for the first time in her life, but only as collateral for bearing babies, otherwise no one would care.
