A telepathic hunter of serial killers, Raven Whitney helps to catch some of the most depraved criminals. But her work keeps her from getting close to others, and has drained her body and spirit. In need of rest and rejuvenation, she embarks for a vacation far from home. From the moment they meet, Raven and Mikhail are helpless to resist the desire that sparks between them. As the enforcer of the Torpedo Ink motorcycle club, Reaper lives for riding and fighting. He's a stone-cold killer who turns his wrath on those who deserve it. Feelings are a weakness he can't afford - until a gorgeous bartender gets under his skin. Near Sea Haven, the small town of Caspar has given Anya Rafferty a new lease on life. And she's desperate to hold on to her job at the biker bar, even if the scariest member of the club seems to have it out for her. But Reaper's imposing presence and smoldering looks just ratchet up the heat.
In a cave of mystery and wonder deep in the Carpathian Mountains, bodyguard Joie Sanders encounters a most remarkable being. What awaits them in the darkness is not known, and each step could be their last - as their destined path leads them toward a fiery passion that will illuminate the perilous dark night.
A man and woman possessed of telekinetic powers. She is the doctor. He is the experiment. What comes between them is a terrifying secret history that could save them or destroy them.
Maggie returns to the place of her birth and her world suddenly turns into a sensual, but dangerous delight. The rainforest holds secrets of her birthright and a mysterious man, as predatory as any of the animals, waiting in the very heart of the jungle for her arrival.
The paparazzi can't get enough of infamous bad boy Giovanni Ferraro. But unknown to them - and the women he beds - he's just playing a role. Keeping the spotlight on himself keeps it off the family business. And if this lethal shadow rider can't hunt in the dark, he'll find his pleasure elsewhere....

I loved it!! I loved the fact that they had two voices instead of a man trying to do a woman's voice or a woman trying to do a man's voice. I loved the fact that they used accents and actually spoke the carpathian words as well. All of Christine's Carpathian books should be done with a man and a women for the voices. Monotone of just one person just does not do justice to her Carpathian books. This Book excelled all the others with the exception of Dark Celebration. Wish there were more readings like it.

I absolutely loved this book! I LOVED the narrators! They made it fun for me and interesting. I wouldn't mind more of the books to be read in by that group. It was easier and made it easy to listen...even though I missed my exit and had to back-track back to my destination. It was a fun. I've listened to most of the books and there are some that are great, some good, and some ok. This one and Dark Demon are my favorite!

I purchased this book on its release date. I also happened to have an extra credit, so I downloaded this audiobook. I read about three-fourths of the book, and listened to rest. I loved the book, the advancement and interaction of the characters. It finally answers a lot of questions and brings resolution to some problems that Christine Feehan has been leading up to for several books. There were some very creative and new concepts in this book that I really liked. Overall, I'd give the book five stars. I've listened to these narrators do the past couple of Dark Series books and really enjoyed them. However, the female narrator's accent in this one totally cracked me up (she reminded me a bit of Steve Martin's "wild and crazy guy" character). I'm glad I didn't rely totally on the audiobook to gauge whether or not I liked the book. If you can get past the silly accent and have liked past Carpathian novels, I think you'll enjoy Dark Slayer.

I love the way the author keeps to the story line and not skip here there and everywhere. I also like the narrators. The only thing I didn't like is that they have the American Women speaking with an accent. Looking forward to the next book. I hope the author brings out the hints that were brought out in this book about Syndel and Ivory possibly being related.

I LOVED THIS BOOK. She has created great characters and a wonderful loved story. She combines the past characters with such imagination.

This was a touching story and I LOVED it! As always even in the seriousness of the problems, the sexiness of the couple there was much humor to keep it from being too much. Gregori saying "I believe you just got SPANKED!" was priceless and had me laughing out loud!

Would you ever listen to anything by Christine Feehan again?
No. I have started and stopped this Book so many times... I give up. Its my worst Audible Purchase to date. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Phil Gigante. That's why I bought this title. The Book and Jane Brown are horrible. A good Narrator can make me enjoy a lack luster title... but here you have a bad performance from Jane Brown, Phil not in the Lead Role... and a terrible story line... I have no idea what these people were thinking with the reviews they have given this title.

I've been reading Christine Feehan's books for years and couldn't wait for her latest. Unfortunately, I have a very hard time reading anymore and I thought I would try an audiobook. It was wonderful!! I felt like I was listening to the old time radio broadcasts (although I`m not that old!) I can`t wait to download my next book!

A WORD TO THE WISE TRY NOT MAKE ALL THE LEAD MALES HAVE THE SAME CHARACTER
The story continues and the world expands. Christine Feehan takes us with her as her people over come more problems.
absolutely awesome loved it one of my favourites among many other capathian novels and I love audible I'm able to multitask
If you could sum up Dark Slayer in three words, what would they be?
Great listening pleasure
