I love the fact that you learn so much about the history of the Carpathians. I really prefer when the story is narrated by a male and female, it makes the story more enjoyable.

I always laugh and cry while reading books, or listening to them, as long as the narraters are good. And these narraters did a really good job.

Dragons, vampires, werewolves... oh my!

This was book 19 of Christine Feehan's Dark series. I didn't realize I was missing out! There was action, turmoil, and just the right amount of energy to keep the story moving. I found myself waking in the middle of the night, grabbing my ear buds, just to hear what would happen next. Our hero Nicolas is ALL alpha male! He was head strong and very dominant. By the end of the book, he learns to protect and compromise without losing his masculinity. I liked him! Our heroin, Lara has great power, but to me she never seemed to trust in herself. Even when she knows she was capable of doing something, she was timid in stepping up. That only served to frustrate me. I mean you see that you carry all this power, but you never trust your own abilities? Come on! Not to mention you've got this hot as hell guy telling and showing you what you mean to him... grow some balls please! So, I gave this book four stars because the story really did keep me coming back for more. I had a problem with the female narrator Jane Brown. She just was not right for me as any of the female voices. Phil Gigante was perfection! The five star performance rating was for him! All in all this book was worth the credit because it made me want to go back and start the series from book one.

Dark Curse - Awesome Listen!

This book was soooooooooooo good. I cannot begin to tell you how much I anticipated this next chapter. Dark Curse continues to have all the paranormal phenomena, as well as an excellent storyline. The author continues to blow me away with her imagination. For true "Dark" fans - you will love this book. Also, the male/female narraration was interesting. I totally enjoyed this book and can't wait for the next one!

Dark Curse Book 16.

It covers another two couples Nicholas De La Curz. Meeting one night when he thought it was going to be his night on earth. When a stranger walks into his life and he saw colors and life was restored back to his blabked soul. Her names was Lara Calladine she is a mage and Carpathian she also the grand daughter of Xavier and daughter to Razvan and Shauna a mage. She came to Romanian for the main reason for founding her aunt who seficles to save her and give her a chance of freedom.
She became a lifeline for the Carpathian race and saving their children. She and her father's twin including their mates went in search for her aunts of course they found them and save them.
It marks another day in their lives one gain for the Carpathian and the wicked mage failed.

Great book

This is an amazing book and series. Christine Feehan is one of the best writers 📑 in paranormal action romances. I have read almost all of those books 📖/series in this genre.
