Publisher's Summary

Blaine

I hurt, break and kill for a living. The Family point, I deliver. But this time, they ask too much. This time, they want me to marry the one woman who knows my secret. She has reason to hate me, I know, but I'll take her, I'll break her, and I'll make her mine. That's the only way I can keep my secret.

Mira

When I ran away eight years ago, I thought I'd escaped the underworld I'd always known. I made a life for myself. I thought I was free. Then my past came knocking at my door. Now I'm marrying the son of London's biggest crime family. A man who hates me as much as I hate him. He's ruthless, brutal, and dangerous - everything I've always feared. He's taken away the life I built, he's taken my freedom. And now, I fear he's taken my sanity, too. How else could I have ended up pregnant with his baby?

    "Ah the mafia bad boy..."

Mira is a psychologist who is attracted to her patient, arrogant bad boy Blain. Blain later rescues her from a group of thugs and divulges that he’s mafia. Mira escaped from that life and decides to push her feelings aside. Only when she arrives at home, she’s confronted by her father & brothers, from whom she had run. Her father is forcing her to marry the son of a mafia boss...guess who is her groom... :). The story takes us through the newlyweds getting to know each other while navigating the intricacies of mafia life. There is a secret pregnancy, kidnapping and blackmail. Then a sweet HEA. Would love to get Marcus’ story.

Omg! I love this story!! Nora Ash is a new to me author that I will continue to follow. Mira and Blane will sweep you into their gritty, scary funny life. The heat level of their relationship if off the chain. This is a must read for anyone who loves a mafia bad boy with a heart of gold and a panty melting British accent.
Rachel Hine and Joel Froomkin are outstanding!

"All those naughty words read by in English accent"
What did you love best about Dangerous?

I loved watching Blaine fall for Mira without realizing that it's happening. The level of fury and denial that Blaine and Mira have about how much they want and care for each other, makes it all the sweeter when they both finally give in and admit their feelings. There’s a nice build up, and a learning curve for Blaine. At times, he really is dense, but when Mira’s life is at stake—no holds barred.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Dangerous?

    Their wedding night...duh!

What does Rachel Hine and Joel Froomkin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I loved hearing a man read the chapters from Blaine's point of view! Joel Froomkin's narration adds natural sexiness and an edge of danger to Blaine lines. He also does a bang-up job in getting Blaine's humor and sarcasm to come to life. Some narrators can't pull off reading lines by the opposite sex, but these two did. Also, I was pleasantly surprised how Rachel Hines brought Blaine to life and how she added extra emotion and sexiness to his role.

    Any additional comments?

Blaine isn’t a bad boy because he has tats, a hard, muscled body and looks dangerous. He’s the real thing-- a criminal and a killer and everything Mira ran from. The next book is about Blaine's brother, Marcus. I think the one about his twin brothers is after that.

    "Can't wait for more!"

The dual narration of this audiobook really makes the story so much more engaging. The mobster/reluctant love story adds an element of intrigue and suspense, that keeps you engaged from beginning to end. I can't wait for what comes next!

"A great first read by Nora Ash!!"

This is my favorite trope- enemies to lovers!! I enjoyed this fast paced read. The minute Blaine walks into Psychologist Mira's office she can't stand him. He's such a cocky jerk and is so full of himself but she can't help the things he does to her body! He doesn't even make it through a full session before she kicks him out.
Little does she know that her mobster dad that's she's tried so hard to escape will show and arrange her to marry none other than Blaine. Just as her and Blaine have a heart to heart, she realizes he's pregnant! She then has another surprise and realizes Blaine represents exactly what she tried so hard to escape. If not for herself, she knows now what she must do for her child- escape for good!
The end had me on the edge!! I couldn't wait to find out what happened next! I listened to the audible version and the narrators did a great job! I can't wait to read Marcus's story!! A great first read by Nora Ash!

    "Loved it!"
What did you love best about Dangerous?

I loved the story when I read it, but the audible version was fantastic! They were really able to bring the story to life.

Have you listened to any of Rachel Hine and Joel Froomkin ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is my first. My favorite are the dual narrations and it was wonderfully done!

    Any additional comments?

Blaine Steele is a British bad boy and his family is the largest mob family in London., Blaine has done and seen things that no one should see but there's one thing in his past he can't seem to forget and the guilt eats away at him until he goes to see a psychologist.Mira Holler is a psychologist who hides a secret past and is hiding from her family but she can't fully forget thanks to the scars on her stomach. Mira meets Blaine when walks into her office. There is instant attraction to Blaine but Mira sees the danger and recognizes it as part of her past and knows to stay away from Blaine. He is one client she hopes to never see again.Mira is kidnapped and held for a week by her father and her brother and they are going to use her to gain power by using her to bargain with the Steele family. Blaine is also forced by his father to take a bride that he doesn’t know to appease the Clery family.Although they are attracted to each other, she wants nothing to do with the family and he can’t admit that she means anything to him. He tells her that she is in danger now that she could be used to get to him and she is locked away in their estate and everything needs to go through guards. Even though she realizes she loves him, the fear of the family is stronger and she is still determined to leave him. But will she be able to escape from everyone who is a threat to her?I really liked Blaine and Mira. She was a very strong character who escaped a twistedly wicked family. Blaine was so hot and sexy even though he was a powerful member of the mob. There was quite a few unexpected twists and turns that keep me guessing. I hope there is more to come from this series.5 Stars

    "Amazing Narration"

I didn't read this book prior to listening to the audiobook, but now I want to go back and read the book. Listening to Rachel Hine and Joel Froomkin made me feel like I was in another place. I love their accents and they completely brought this story to life.

Nora Ash wrote a beautiful, mafia-type romance and I was enthralled from the beginning with this story

Can't wait to listen to more of their narrations.

    "Exciting, Sexy mafia romance!"

I loved this fast paced, sexy, enemies to lovers romance! Blaine and Mira are forced into a marriage to benefit their crime families. Mira has worked hard to escape that life and is trying hard to figure out a way to escape this dangerous, sexy man as well. They both get on each others nerves, but the more they fight, the more they turn each other on and the hate sex is very hot and steamy! Blaine is cocky, dominant, loyal and protective. The more time he spends with this strong, smart, sexy woman, the more he wants her to be his forever. I love Blaine and Mira together, they challenge each other, their banter is fun, and their chemistry is off the charts! I also loved Blaine's brothers, they added fun and intrigue to this story as well. There are several twists and turns that make this story funny, emotional and thrilling. Both narrators, Rachel Hine, and Joel Froomkin, pulled me into this world and made all the characters come to life. There were a few spots that the sound was a bit off but it didn't distract from my overall enjoyment. I was engaged from the very beginning to this exhilarating and sexy romance and will definitely check out more from Ms Ash and both narrators!

    "5 stars for the story"

I read this book before I got it on Audible and really enjoyed it. Have read the second in series as well and am looking forward to reading book 3.
It's a great story fast paced with great characters. And kept my interest from start to finish. We get introduced to the characters who will all get there on book. This book is Blaine and Mira's story.
But I didn't like the male narrator, I think this is just me though as many people have said he was great though they had not read the book before, perhaps I imagined Blaine sounding different. Please don't let it put you off the book though, but I was given the audible in exchange for a honest review so that's what I have given.
I love Nora Ash's books, as they always keep me turning the pages, she is a automatic buy for me. You know you will get a great story/charachters and real page turner.
