Great story!

Damaged is a steam story about Mace an undercover agent and Colby a biochemist. Love the way the author brought these two together and the intense emotions they felt at that moment. The narrator really brought Mace and Colby's story to life. Great writing, believable characters and off the charts chemistry make this a 5-star book.

Loved this story!

I loved the story and even got used to a woman narrate the male parts. Mace is an undercover cop back from a long mission. When he goes back home to his sister he finds Colby instead. She is courageous and doesn’t back down from burglars. She babysits his home. She has a dark past and he has secrets and enemies. Both have scorching chemistry. There’s suspense and action in Damage. I enjoyed listening to it very much. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great Listen

Another great book from Jeanne St. James. The story was awesome! I wasn’t totally crazy about B.B. Franklin’s narration, but the content of the book more than compensated. I have loved every book that I’ve read by this author,and look forward to reading more.

Damaged

This was another great story by this author! The chemistry between Colby and Mase was hot! They were perfect for each other. Both had danger in their pasts and were able to be supportive of one another and help each other move past everything they had experienced. There was some danger and suspense, as well as some steamy action between the two.

As for the narration, I thought the narrator's voice was pleasant to listen to. I felt she did well with Colby. However, she wasn't as convincing as the male voices of Mase or Martin. It wasn't as easy to distinguish between overall narration and Mase as it was to distinguish between overall narration and Colby. With that said, I still enjoyed listening to this story and would listen to another book by this narrator.

Great story...too much sex for me

I really wanted to like this more than I did. It seems to be the beginning of a great story. So much could happen and go wrong. Sadly the majority of this book was sex. Some is good so we can get the feel for the emotions of the character but too much just ruins it and takes away from the main story. Which was great by the way. Colby has a great job with an abusive past. He is an undercover FBI agent coming home to rest up after getting shot. Funnily the two are at the same house..he owns it. She is renting from his sister. So their first meeting was crazy as she thought he was an intruder. Each has a shady past that can rear its ugly head at any time.
I did listen to this On audio and BB Franklin did a nice job narrating. This is my first book by this author.

Damaged

Damaged is a steamy romantic suspense with lots of danger and hot chemistry. It kept me on the edge of my seat from the very beginning all the way until the end. I loved this book and the characters, but the only thing better would have been an epilogue. B.B. Franklin did a great job bringing this story to life. I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Love This Narration

B.B. Franklin did an incredible job narrating this twisty, suspenseful romance that had me wanting to constantly listen to how the story unfolded. I don't recall if I read this story previously, but I won't forget this narration for a while. With such a strong female lead, and a healing FBI agent, the sparks just flew!

Good romantic suspense

Mace is home to recover after being injured while undercover. He doesn’t count on the gorgeous woman, who’s house sitting for his sister. They have intense chemistry and they begin to feel more. But there are sinister elements from both of their pasts...will they survive to explore their relationship?
Good story with lots of steamy moments. Quick read/listen.
