Enjoyable

First of all don't expect allot of BDSM/sexual scenes. I'm not saying there's no fun sexy stuff in this book, but it's more story than sex. I actually enjoyed it a great deal and I'm so pleased it's not a series. It's nice to have the whole story in one book. This one has that touch of humor that I enjoy, some spice, and catwoman. It wasn't quite what I was expecting but I feel like it's a credit well spent.

this book confused me. at first, I thought it was going to go one way, but then it went in a completely different direction, and not necessarily in a good way.
it wasn't terribly bad, but I can't say that it was an easy listen.

Just Not Enough

When I think of dominatrix I think of a much stronger character in a female. The main female character lived a dual life which was fine regarding careers but personality I would have preferred her to be dominating in both. When you read dominating books w/males dominating they rule in their professional and love life. If you are looking for that I would not recommend this book. If you are looking for a love story w/a little bit of kink this may satisfy you.

Loved the book and narrator.

I enjoyed this book and the narrator. I had one small issue, the hero's name was pronounced 2 different ways during the reading of the story.

Surprisingly sweet femdom

I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this one but I ended up really loving it. Their dynamic is so adorable. If you are expecting a nonstop steamy listen, this one isn’t that. But the scenes still carry plenty of heat, but this book is more plot driven than a lot of BDSM reads. All in all I really loved this book. The narration was really well done. The only thing I wasn’t wild about was the fact she doesn’t change voices at all for the different characters, but that’s just being nit picky. Overall I would definitely recommend.

Not your normal BDSM - I really enjoyed it!

I offered to review this audiobook because I am such an an avid reader but also almost exclusively audio due to my schedule. Because of this, and the fact that a bad narrator can destroy a great series, I can be very critical of narrators. Especially when books have a single narrator required to speak with different voices for multiple characters. Most cannot do it without having some errors where they use the wrong 'voice' for the wrong character. Hollie Jackson does a good job in narrating this book. It was a very enjoyable listen and I didn't have any issues distinguishing between characters.

As to the story, I am not one to give a lot of specific story details since I feel you should read the story for that. However, I will say that it is a romance that covers some intense issues in way that isn't too intense to enjoy. It includes the BDSM scene but not in a hardcore way. It has good character development, great story line that that has several twists I didn't see coming, and a happy ending. You won't be disappointed if you give it a try!

Amazing!!!

This is an amazing read / listen! I don't even know where to begin to express my love for this book! It was the perfect balance of BDSM with out being over the top. I love Daisy's character! Her humor is infectious and her inner struggle is so real that anyone and everyone at some point in their lives can relate to some of her conflicts. Daily's relationships were so well written that I could totally see her being one of my best friends. I was totally invested in her as a character. I loved the family dynamic as well. Oh, and the narration - Hollie Jackson was perfect! Overall this is a perfect, wonderful romance read - great story line and great flow - I could not put this book / listen down!

Great book

This author is new to me. I really enjoyed her writing. The characters had depth and evolved. I appreciate the dysfunctional relationships and hurtful communication. Daisy and Duran are well suited for each other. I liked the BDSM integration. The author allowed the reader to understand the basic concepts of D/s dynamic.
Hollie Jackson did an outstanding performance of bringing this story to life.

A light #BDSM #romance

I really enjoyed the voices. I found the woman's voice and narration captivating throughout the whole story.

If you are not into BDSM world like me, you will enjoy this book. As the erotic scenes are not extreme and you can read/hear them pleasantly.
