Publisher's Summary

Mark Beale and several of his brothers from SEAL Team 3 board a cruise ship to bury a fallen buddy's ashes at sea. A risky affair with a beautiful Italian the night before they leave begins to ease his survivor's guilt.

Sophia Negri, suffering jitters over her engagement, falls for the handsome SEAL and pretends she speaks no English, letting their bodies do the talking. When Marc finds her on the ship and learns Sophia is half American, he is angry at first, but falls for her all over again as they set sail.

Terrorists take over the ship and hold the passengers for ransom, Mark and the other SEALs are the only ones who can stop the plot. Will Marc's actions be enough to save Sophia or will he have to sacrifice himself to save the woman he loves?

Love me a Seal!

Would you consider the audio edition of Cruisin' for a SEAL to be better than the print version?

Mark is Hot, sexy, you can tell you would want to be Sophia. She won his heart not just his lust. He loves her. Story is wonderful and the sex is very nice! The narrating adds extra sexy to it. Love this. I have the book but the Audio is better!!!

What other book might you compare Cruisin' for a SEAL to and why?

I don't know, this is different,

What does J. D. Hart bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Breathes life into it.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

oh yes for sure!

Any additional comments?

Love love love Sharon Hamilton Audiobooks!

Highly romantic, thrilling adventure

Where does Cruisin' for a SEAL rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I would say Cruisin is one of the best ive listened to it was so exciting, action packed and very romantic

What other book might you compare Cruisin' for a SEAL to and why?

All the audio books by Sharon Hamilton and narrated by JD Hart. They are all of the highest quality, exciting to listen to and so very romantic with characters so believable you think you know them personally and the narration so good as to be apart of the book

Have you listened to any of J. D. Hart’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to all J D Hart's narration of both Sharon Hamilton SEALs and her Golden Vampires. His range and professionalism are of the highest quaility and he is such a gifted story teller from the believable accents to the range of emotion he brings to every story

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were so many i enjoyed from the action, to the tender love scenes to the unique banter between the SEALs. When Mark and Sophia speak Italian to each other to the vivid detail of being on board a cruise ship.

Any additional comments?

These wonderful audio books by Sharon Hamilton and JD Hart's just get better every time. I thoroughly enjoy listening to them. They are such a joy to listen to whether im travelling or just relaxing i cant wait for the next one

The best yet

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would definitely recommend this audiobook to everybody and I am because I read the book and found it very enjoyable, but adding the narrator's voice it came alive.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the whole story, action, comedy, suspense are mixed beautifully with passionate moments.

Which scene was your favorite?

I can't pick one :D

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I think it was towards the end when Mark and Tyler were transporting the bomb away from the cruise ship, they were ready to selflessly sacrifice themselves to save so many and that brings to the forefront their courage and willingness to defend what they believed in, protect the innocent.

Any additional comments?

I've listened to all the books narrated by JD Hart and the versatility of his voice amazes me every time, but this one I think is the best yet. All the accents are perfectly rendered, the mood of the characters come across clearly, the various characters of different gender and nationalities are well defined. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Loved it!

I love all your books Sharon and can't fault any of them. The only thing I am faulting you on is the "Italian" Sophia speaks. Ahem, it's actually Spanish. 😄 No wonder I couldn't understand what the Narrator was saying. Yes, my background is Italian. Love the Narrator's voice. Perfect!

Nice twist on the Cruise ship

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Things between Mark and Sophie start out as anonymously as a relationship can. Cruise time comes and they find themselves on the same ship but things become a bit complicated with Sophie's past and present relationship status.

We get to see what SEAL's do when not on duty and if duty comes to them how they handle it. I love all the characters in this book and like to keep up with them in other books.

Which character – as performed by J. D. Hart – was your favorite?

Kyle seems to be his strongest character. He did fine with Mark, but he seems to identify more with Kyle.

Any additional comments?

My only problem is the narrator, He is better in this book than he has been but he is still very dry and just doesn't have the best bedroom voice..

Fantastic Audio Book

Where does Cruisin' for a SEAL rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The SEAL's stories continue to come from Sharon Hamilton, and they continue to amaze me! I fell in love with Mark in book 4, and Cruisin' For A SEAL had me falling further for him.

While the SEAL team is on a cruise (of the vacation sort) Mark meets the beautiful dancer Sophia. Sophia is a great heroine, who's engaged to another man but can't seem to help falling in love with the SEAL. There chemistry is crazy, and I love how Mark gets all alpha with trying to protect her :). It was heartbreaking learning one of the characters we had come to love and care for had passed in between books 4 and 5, even if we knew this would eventually happen. Full of twists, this book drew me in from the beginning and I couldn't stop listening (hubby even mentioned to me the other day he wants to hear more on Fredo and his friends, so it's even drawn him in :) . I definitely recommend this read to anyone looking for a fantastic SEAL team audio

Take a Cruise with SEAL Team 3

Any additional comments?

I will admit, I had a hard time with this book at first. I did not like Sophia at all! I felt she was all wrong for Mark. I also felt as if he was cheating on Sophie's memory and jumped in way too soon with Sophia. Also, the names Sophia and Sophie were too close to me and made me feel as if he was using one for the other.I would have much preferred had Sophie from Nick's book to have survived her cancer and been Marks HEA. I think Mark fell too hard and too fast for Sophia and it just didn't seem believable (esp. after he stressed his feelings of loss of Sophie)It wasn't until about half way through that I started to warm up to Sophia. I can not say that I fell in love with her. It was more of a case of tolerate her. Now Mark on the other hand, I loved his character in the previous book and loved him here as well, but again, his falling so hard and fast just did not seem believable. He followed Sophia around like a horn dog after a female in heat. At least he came to his senses for a bit when he found out Sophia was engaged. (You'll have to read the story to find out all about that).Anyway, this was written as a multi pov....and when I say multi, I mean MULTI....we had Mark, Sophia, Max, Kyle, etc. etc. etc.One thing I did truly love about this book was that it had all the characters from the previous books locked up in one location. So we got to see how things are progressing basically with everyone. It helped to tie everyone in. The whole concept for the most part was pretty good. The whole dancing thing though could have been left out. To me, it was just filler and not needed. I think there could have been a different way the characters could have been integrated into the storyline. All in all, a good storyline concept. The dialogue between characters was fantastic as always. No heart twinge moments but I did have a chuckle or two. Was also sad to see the passing of a beloved character. The descriptions to details were done well. This can be read as a stand alone.Would I recommend this book? YesWould I read more from this author? YesSassy Beta Reading & Review

AWESOME!!

And they all come together again. This time it’s on a cruise to bury a member of their “family” at sea. There’s always something happening when they get together. I loved Mark & Sophia together. I’m really glad they “found” each other. He really needed that since Sophie. I really enjoyed that all the members from the previous books were together on the cruise with their spouses. The strength of their brotherhood is always enjoyable to read about. And yet again…JD’s voice!!!

Love Seal Team 3

I was excited to have Mark’s story because I fell in love with him in Seal the Deal. I will say that I was a little disappointed and did feel this was a rushed ‘love-at-first-sight’ relationship with Mark and Sophia, I thought the connection he had with Sophie was much stronger and felt more real. But I pushed through that, and did end up enjoying the book. I do have to admit, though, I think my favorite part was Fredo and Mia, and without giving any spoilers, that’s all I can say about that!
Since most of our guys from Seal Team 3, along with their wives/girlfriends, were together on this cruise it was great to get caught up with everyone and see the passion in their respective relationships is still burning HOT!
My main wish, and the thing I was most disappointed with, was not having more of the story on Gunny’s passing and only having mention of them coming on the cruise to spread his ashes and then never getting the story of them actually doing so. This may not bother any other of the readers, I just really loved Gunny’s character.
There was mystery, suspense, and danger all mixed with hot and steamy romance from several of SEALs we have come to love. I love their loyalty and brotherhood to each other and how they all will protect each and every one of the women who love them.
If there were ½ stars, I would give this a 3.5, but since there aren’t, I always round up. Can’t wait to see what’s next for Seal Team 3!
