A Montana Rescue novella by acclaimed, RITA award-winning, USA Today best-selling author Susan May Warren.

Seven years have passed since ranch foreman Kade Logan walked away from small town Dawson, Montana, and the woman he loved, Haddie Brown. He had his reasons, including a dark secret that made him swear never to return to Eastern Montana oil country. Since then, he's thrown himself into his job as foreman of billionaire rancher Ian Shaw's spread in Western Montana. He's built a new life far from the mistakes - and broken heart - he left behind.

Trauma nurse Haddie Brown has fought to forget Kade and her broken dreams. Sure, she's back in Dawson, but not for long - she's on her way to Minneapolis to start a new chapter of her life.

When family problems bring Kade back to Dawson, his past comes due - and Haddie is caught in the crossfire. Kade must face his mistakes to rescue the woman he loves. And Haddie must trust the man who broke her heart if she hopes save them all.

Your Plan? Or Gods?

When we are children and things happen in our lives we put up barriers and of course we think we know it all and have all the answers. Let God in when he knocks on your door. And we know all things work together for good to those who love GOD and are called according to his purpose. Romans 8: 28
A lovely story of love and redemption.

Awesome novella

How fun to listen to this novella in the Montana Rescue series. Susan May Warren NEVER disappoints and this was no exception. Love how the gospel and grace are wound into the story. It was nice to get a glimpse of what lead to Pete’s change. I hope to get the full story of the experience from his point of view when I read the final book in the series. Until then, just waiting for Storm Front ... and then Pete & Jess’ story!!

Part of Montana Rescue Series?

The story was excellent, but I was trying to figure out the timeline in the Montana Rescue series.
I know there is more information on the explosion that has the FBI looking into the cause. Also Pete Brooks shows up with the American Red Cross. But that’s about it.
However, I gave this book 5 stars across the board because it’s a great story, wonderful narration, and it kept me very interested.
I felt the women in this book were strong, kind, and put Christ in the center of their lives.

I tried

I have tried to listen to this on 3 separate occasions. I have NEVER been able to listen to entire book. The narrator made me want to claw mh own ears off. The story potential was there but, I'll never know.

Good story, rough narration

The narration felt choppy to me. I about didn't finish and would lose interest quickly.
And this actually sits between probably book 3 and 4, not at the end.
The story was good, enough suspense and sweet, tenderness to keep it interesting.

Overly dramatized

Narration was done well, but the female characters were overly dramatized making them sound weak instead of the strong women Susan wrote them to be. I read the 4 other books of Susan May Warren with some of the same characters and loved them. This one was hard to get through.
