Publisher's summary

Redemption isn't a word Jim Heron knows much about - his specialty is revenge, and to him, sin is all relative. But everything changes when he becomes a fallen angel and is charged with saving the souls of seven people from the seven deadly sins.

Vin diPietro long ago sold his soul to his business, and he's good with that - until fate intervenes in the form of a tough-talking Harley-riding, self-professed savior. But then he meets a woman who will make him question his destiny, his sanity, and his heart - and he has to work with a fallen angel to win her over and redeem his own soul.

The story line started out .....

The Story line started out rough.. I wasn't sure what to expect.... this is so different from her first books BDD. The reader after a little while actual grows on you and these Demons are well.. Just listen. Take your time enjoy the ride and what a ride it is. :)

Great Listen!

I didn't read a single thing about this book before I bought it. It looked good and everyone had been talking about it so why not? This book was not at all what I expected--it was much more. J.R. Ward does it again with her brilliant writing. She knows just how to lighten a situation by her clever metaphors and witty writing. I wonder what book two will have in store for us!

Enjoyed this so much!

I had already read this book in paper form, but the audio version really made it better. The narrator did a great job. It has a very light association with the Black Dagger Brotherhood, as it's from the same universe, but is very different. Then I read the second book, Crave, and I plan to get the audio version soon. I liked it even better than Covet. I'm so glad they used the same narrator.

Covet - Loved it!

Would you consider the audio edition of Covet to be better than the print version?

I enjoy audio books because I have an hour drive each way to work and this listening to books make the drive more enjoyable.

Not the Brotherhood!!! It's okay.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I am a JR Ward fan. I loved her other books and this is my first time straying away from the Brotherhood. The Narrator is great, and I am glad that he was otherwise I would have been quick to leave this book. The story line was okay.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

Jim Herron and the fact that he is an angel. Not the best angel but at times realistic enough to believe him.

What about Eric G. Dove’s performance did you like?

I loved Eric G. Dove's performance. He kept me enthralled in the book. I am glad it was him and not someone that would lose me in their monotone.

Do you think Covet needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

It does not need a follow up. It was complete enough there was nothing left to say.

crazy good!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Covet to be better than the print version?

couldn't say having not read the printed version.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I can never pick one....each one is so good at their part of the story.

Which character – as performed by Eric G. Dove – was your favorite?

Eric was very good at expressing himself as the different characters.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

you do both... you feel all the different emotions.

Any additional comments?

this is not your every day angel story. get ready for a major shocker. good thing you will be siting down.
