WOW....Love this book!!

A woman who chose an abusive man but saved herself and her child. Now she does not trust herself when she is attracted to a man who rides a Harley and has tattoos. Can not wait for Cooper's book.

A GREAT LOVE STORY!!!

They weren't looking to fall in love, but you can't stop the inevitable! I really enjoyed this story of Brody, Elise and Reny.

Enjoyable

I loved Laid Bare and was really looking forward to the brother's story. While this book flowed well and kept me interested it wasn't as spicy as I was expecting. I'm not saying the writing was bad or the premise of the book sucked but I wasn't pulled into the story like I was with Erin's story. I definitely will be listening to the other sibling's book when available but I hope to have some spice in their stories.

Brody Brown is a tattooed shop owner alpha male who raised his brother and sister when their parents died, who is use to taking care of everyone. Elise, a former ballerina, and now owner of dance studio, moves in across the street from Brody, hoping to establish a quiet life for her and her young daughter Rennie. She's rebuilding her life after a violent relationship with Rennie's father and hoping to escape her former in-laws who seem bent on making her life a living hell. When Brody is hit by a hit by a hit and run drunk driver Elise comes to his aid the two becomes friends and then lovers. This is book two of the Brown series and this maybe my favorite one Brody Brown is hot and very caring this book was well written "read" as I listened to it. Elise is an independent, dedicated single mother who is determined to leave her past behind and create a happy, safe home for herself and her young daughter. Although she has been through hell and back, Elise is strong and seeks no pity from her friends. Young and sexy she discovers that wounds from the past have not permanently scarred her spirit or her sensual nature. I loved Elise and her family her parents were loving and only wanted her to be happy. Raven who had an friends with benefits relationship with Brody needed to be slapped she didn't want him when she had him and now that he is serious with someone else she wants him. I also loved the fact the Browns are a close knit family and they have loving friends who are there for each other. This is a well written series and I can't wait to read about the rest of this crew. The also showed the progress of Erin, Todd and Ben and I am happy for them. I a can't wait to learn more about the Brown's.

It was good

This book was good - not great but I liked it. Tuff tattooed guy - sweet girl fall in love with crazy friends and family to hinder their relationship. Love, romance, and drama makes a good book . I enjoyed the narrator - she added a lot of emotion to the listen. Will probably get the next book in the series.

Pretty Good

It's not in any way as good as the first book in this seires. If you like a regular love story then you'll enjoy this one. It has the characters from the first book but this one is Brody's story. It is nice and has issues for the characters to deal with and some mild sexual situations. All in all I'd rather get this one on sale. For those of you that like the regular love stories with modern day family problems (maybe extreme family problems) then you'll enjoy this one. I hope Adrian's story is more like the first book.This book is too tame for my taste, but it is a "nice" book.

Brody's Book Rocks!

I love this story and feeling like Brody gets his due....I love the way Lauren Dane has grown as an author, these are not just silly love stories. They have substance and are also sexy. Those who love the Chase brothers more I beg to differ....these books are much more than they are. I love the character and story continuation, I love the dialogue, you want to know these people. They are what family is all about. Thanks Lauren Dane for ramping it up to the next level! Can't wait for all the books (for the ereader and audible! - love them both!

What made the experience of listening to Coming Undone the most enjoyable?

The attraction and steamy evolution of Brody and Elise's relationship.It was also great in that it included the entire Brown family and I cannot wait for the next book. I just pre-ordered it!

What other book might you compare Coming Undone to and why?

Laid Bare (the 1st in the Series) - ANYTHING by Lauren Dane - She is fantastic!

What about Lucy Rivers’s performance did you like?

The narration was moderate. Rivers' portrayal of the men again is lacking and the women sounded similar.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely!

A great plot along with FANTASTIC sex scenes.

A NICE SENSITIVE (AND HOT) LISTEN

Definitely not quite as spicy as the first book - this one was more character driven with no sub plots or unanswered questions - just a steadily paced hot romance spanning well over a year between two very likeable people, and their families and friends with just one little hiccup. There are some bad memories, sexy hot scenes, a b*tch and dislikable in-laws that must be overcome before the couple can finally move on.

It also gives us a chance to catch up on the characters we grew to love from book 1 (if you've read it) and due to this there was a scene of m/m action then the pair were joined by their female partner.

Worth a credit? Yes, and I'm also looking forward to the next sibling's story.

Steamy!

Despite using a number of tried and true romantic tropes, Dane still manages to keep the characters interesting enough to carry along a story that is fairly predictable and sometimes a bit confusing. The addition of the sex is definitely a plus! Narrator did a great job!
