"It's like you’re living the book"

I read this book previously and loved it! However, listening to an Audio Book is so different than reading a book. Depending on the narrators, you feel as if you’re experiencing a book. The narrators for Come Back to Me were Lacy Laurel and Logan McAllister had fantastic chemistry! Lacy has this super sexy voice… it’s low and bit husky… she sounds like she was woken up in a super sexy way and is extremely happy about it (not me, I’m not a morning person!). Now I’m a woman and Logan’s voice was like having sexy hands run over my body… shhhh… I’m married Logan, you naughty naughty boy! I could listen to these two read to me all day long!

I wanted to wrap poor Adrianna up in this protected cloth for the rest of her life. No one should have to experience so much loss. It’s inspiring to watch her continue on her life and completely uproot it for the change she so desperately needed. I don’t want to give a lot of the story line away… there’s so much mystery and the story unfolds perfectly in front of you. Blake was so in love and it’s beautiful to see a man so head over heels for his woman. There might have been a few times I wanted to knock some sense into him but, eh, he is a man so that seems pretty normal! I love the flashbacks we get throughout the book. Both Blake and Adrianna take us back and forth from now to their past, this really helps build a picture in our heads.

My only problem with this whole story is the cussing. It really wasn’t necessary to cuss as much as it did. It didn’t add anything to the story and honestly, it took a bit away for me. There are times when a good curse word is needed and adds to the story but this seemed extreme to me. That being my only beef and doesn’t even warrant me removing an entire star off my rating.

Kathy Coopmans tells a wonderful story of strength and forgiveness. We get an up-close look at how life can be so cruel to some people while not challenging others. We see how two people handle the same situations differently. There’s just so much here… I’d definitely recommend this story. Coopmans can weave a story that will touch your heart.

    "Emotional and Sweet"

I love the idea of this story, and I totally, totally love that the lead male isn't a manwhore! It's so damn refreshing! He loves his wife so much, that he doesn't have sex for years! Years! A man that has some self control! Amazing! The connection between Adriana and Blake is really sweet, and I enjoyed reading about them reconnecting. Oh man, Adriana needed to stop being so naïve about her sister! I was getting so ticked at her with how much she let's her sister control her life. Adriana puts her sister above all others; even her husband, and her sister definitely doesn't deserve it, so a lot of the times, I wanted to shake Adriana to stop being so clueless! So, that was something that dropped this rating a bit for me because I wanted Adriana to show more of a backbone. Another thing that bothered me in this book, was that the reason Adriana's husband did what he did never amounted to much, there's no real resolution for that storyline, so yeah, a bit disappointed there. Adriana and Blake's story is a bit crazy, but I found it interesting, and I did like the emotional level of their relationship. I listened to the audio version, and enjoyed the narration, so I'd recommend it. Emotional story with a sweet romance. Enjoyable and well written.

    "Good Listen"

Wow this story packed a punch with so many emotions. I thought both narrators did a very good performance with their POV. I love a second chance at love book, but did not like the drug abuse by Adriana's sister. The story was well written and the ending was outstanding. I requested a review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. This review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I will definitely listen to more books by the author and narrators.

    "Lovely 2nd chance romance"

I received a free copy of this audiobook and voluntarily chose to review it. The story was lovely, the 2nd chance romance. Who doesn't love 2nd chances? The audio was a little difficult to follow, when the it was just the character's thoughts or the actually spoke. The chemistry between Blake and Adriana was off the charts.

    "Great Narration.......Great Story........"

I was so thrilled to see this book come out in audio. I had started reading the kindle version and I stopped about halfway through because I just don't have the time to sit and read. I started the book over and I finally got to finish it. I loved the twists and turns because usually I can guess what's coming and this book surprised me. I like that. I like angst too and this book had that as well.

I would definitely recommend this book.

The narration was excellent! Both Logan McAllister and Lacy Laurel did a fantastic job!

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher for my unbiased review.

    "Good Second Chance Story!"

This is a good second chance romance about two people, Blake and Adriana who's lives were ruin by others. Adriana was a strong character considering the fact that she has lost so much in her life including her sister, grandma and so she thinks her husband. I am glad that Blake and Adriana was able to get though their issues and we do get a HEA at the end.

"Well-lauded by others, but not my cup of tea."

I received a copy of Come Back to Me via AudioBoom in return for an honest review. The book has received many favorable reviews, but I could not finish it. I found the prose repetitive, unnecessarily graphic, and melodramatic. I could feel some sympathy for the main characters, but even in their heartbreak, they were annoying. Adriana's memories of her sister's difficulties bounced back and forth ad nauseam between the love and the anger she felt towards her. Adriana's losses were akin to Job's, yet her best friend, Heidi, was an almost unbelievably angelic presence. I listened to about a third of the story, then jumped to the concluding chapters. Even they annoyed me, so I was glad I had not forced myself to listen to the entire story. The narration was choppy and overly emotional. But as I wrote in my title, many people seem to have enjoyed the story, which did, indeed, convey a strong romantic and physical bond between two attractive young people.

    "Come Back To Me"

This audiobook just didn`t click for me from the start.
I personally don`t think the narrators complimented the characters. In all fairness the two leads even had me confused.
Logan at times sounded like a 40`s PI and Lacy come across like she was whispering a secret to me.
The storyline wasn't an easy one to embrace, the roller coaster of emotions going from one extreme to another just confused me more than anything.
At times it sounded like it could be two different books, that could have been the story or the way it was narrated.
But hey, if it works for you I hope you enjoy. We don`t all have the same taste in books or narrator styles.

I was given this audiobook free at my request for my honest and unbiased review.

    "Good Listen"

This was a really good second chance romance which is told in dual POVs.

This is a story about loss and finding the strength to deal with what life throws at you. This is also a story is about hope, forgiveness and betrayal.

I really liked the chemistry between Adriana and Blake and Logan McAllister & Lacy Laurel did a great job narrating and conveying this.

    "Review."

This is a very good story, I like this author and intend to read and listen to more of her work. The presenters are excellent, I always prefer a male and female presenter reading but I know that is not always possible due to cost. In this case having both works really well and makes all the difference.
