Publisher's summary

For fans of Fifty Shades of Grey and Bared to You comes the second novel in the erotic, fast-paced trilogy that started with Release Me. This sexy, emotionally charged romance continues the story of Damien Stark, the powerful multimillionaire who’s never had to take “no” for an answer, and Nikki Fairchild, the Southern belle who only says “yes” on her own terms.

For Damien, our obsession is a game. For me, it is fiercely, blindingly, real.

Damien Stark’s need is palpable - his need for pleasure, his need for control, his need for me. Beautiful and brilliant yet tortured at his core, he is in every way my match.

I have agreed to be his alone, and now I want him to be fully mine. I want us to possess each other beyond the sweetest edge of our ecstasy, into the deepest desires of our souls. To let the fire that burns between us consume us both.

But there are dark places within Damien that not even our wildest passion can touch. I yearn to know his secrets, yearn for him to surrender to me as I have surrendered to him. But our troubled pasts will either bind us close...or shatter us completely.

Claim Me is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

uptick in storyline

the first book started out slower than I would have liked. This book seemed the same until about chapter 14 when the story began to move with pace. Left with a cliff hanger in which you can't wait to start the next novel. Look forward to reading all of the other novels and novellas woven into this story.

Great Installment - Looking Forward To The Next

What made the experience of listening to Claim Me (The Stark Trilogy) the most enjoyable?

This is a continuation of Release Me - The Stark Trilogy. If you enjoy the billionaire meets beauty and follow the journey of extravagance, intimacy and drama - this is for you. (Oh yeah, great sex too.)

What was one of the most memorable moments of Claim Me (The Stark Trilogy)?

Finding out Damion's TWO secrets... who knew? No spoilers from me - but I will tell you that you'll understand what makes him tick.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No, I don't have 'extreme reactions'. This is compared to 50 Shades which I haven't read-so I'm not helpful in that. However, it IS similar to the Crossfire Series by Sylvia Day or Breathless Trilogy by Maya Banks

I found myself drifting through parts of Book #1 Release Me, Book #2 Claim Me kept my interest throughout and I cannot wait to finish this series with Book #3 Complete Me.

Any additional comments?

NOTE: Contains adult themes and strong language.

Might Die Waiting for Book Three!

Would you consider the audio edition of Claim Me to be better than the print version?

I think listening to the book allows you to experience the book instead of just reading it.

Which character – as performed by Sofia Willingham – was your favorite?

All of them. But, I suppose Nikki would have to be my favorite. Sophia does a great job with her - you can feel her personality and it is like Nikki really is telling the story instead of someone reading to you.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I have to admit that I did cry and that I laughed often throughout book - enjoying Nikki and Damien's relationship. Also the book is in the erotic section....need I say more?

Any additional comments?

A great love story and character study. The book satisfies my need for happiness for the main characters without feeling cheesy.

Love this one

I liked the first book. Love this one! In my opinion this one is more compelling than the first book in the series. I enjoyed getting to know Damien's character better and seeing Nikki becoming a stronger woman through the challenges. Also I love the narrator. I can't wait for book 3!! Please hurry up Audible!

Definelty worth the credit!

A Must Listen!!

What made the experience of listening to Claim Me the most enjoyable?

Sofia Willingham!!!! I love her soft whisper voice! She makes each character their own distinct person. The passion that she puts into the story, she just makes it so real! She is officially my favorite narrator!

What did you like best about this story?

I loved Release Me and have listened to it several times. I wasn't sure if the Claim Me would continue and be as great, but I was ecstatic to find that it not only was as good as the first but was even better!! The game between Damien and Nikki continues, I love the way that Damien's words just put spell on Nikki (& me ;)).

What about Sofia Willingham’s performance did you like?

Sofia is perfect! I am not a good reader, so I listen ;) Sofia draws you into the story and never lets you go. When the story is over she leaves you wanting for more!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The emerald bracelet!

Any additional comments?

INTRIGUING & DEEP

What did you like about this audiobook?

It's difficult to write a review about this book. I listened to it quite awhile ago and have put off writing the review until I listened to the next in the series hoping it would better help me to describe how I feel about it. The characters were amazing, the storyline really good, lots of steam and sensuality but also a lot of angst. That said, I have to state that J.Kenner is an amazing writer and describes feeling, emotions and circumstances so that it kept me intrigued and mesmerized.

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

Not sure

Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?

Yes, J.K. presents the information well; I got to know the characters in this first book and got to ride along with their emotions. I like that in a book, in fact, for me it is necessary to get emotionally involved, otherwise I get bored. Also, from start to finish this book was a great listen.

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?

Her male voices could have been better and more inflection during times of passion, anger, etc. but was not bad enough to make me not want to listen. There have been narrators who have completely destroyed my desire to complete a really good book; this was not the case. I do hope she gets better with time.
