A nice romp

I really like this series but I had a harder time getting as invested in this story as some of the others. A lot was the same, desert, fighting, searching, security breaches...but overall a OK continuance of the series. The narrator is excellent and ha does the voice switching effortlessly!

The lone human male on Carthago

Blain is a formerly controlled security officer who has been recently rescued from an abduction that took him across the galaxy and made him fight for his life for months. Due to his captors, he is struggling to overcome the effects of the forced drugs and loss of lives in the fight arena.

Saff is a bad@$$ gladiator for the house of Galen and she isn't sure why Blain intrigues her so, but her species' extra sensory abilities have given her a little insight into his chaotic feelings and can't seem to brush thoughts of him aside as easily as others.

Thoroughly enjoyed this read and love how each standalone story moves the entire world events forward and connects to past and future characters and situations.

The entire series

I absolutely love the entire Galactic Gladiators series. I have listened to over a hundred books and several book series and I will say most are pretty good but this series is my favorite by far!

What an amazing series

I applaud you Anna Hackett. You have created a world like no other. Your words are an amazing visual art. I normally like reading a book, but I have to say the audiobook with Vivienne as narrator is so much better. Love this book with the H/ H as the main characters, it had action, drama, romance-just the right amount of steam-and all the good feels. Can't get enough of this series. Two more audio books to go.

Slow burn 🔥

Blaine and Saff’s relationship was a slow burn that developed into a raging fire!! Whoo! Blaine, a Space Marine, is captured and forced to fight for his life in a deadly underground fighting ring! Saff, a Gladiator net fighter, has fought all of her life and thrives on challenge and competition! Their initial encounter is strained but instant attraction allows them to explore a deeper connection which leads to a to a romantic relationship!! They inspire and support one another through any obstacles in their path! Overall this is a good story with all the feels!! Vivienne Leheny is fantabulous as a narrator and brings the story to life!

Storyline is getting repetitive

Hoped for more variation in this book but disappointed that the characters and use of language is becoming boring and repetitive in book 5..
