Publisher's Summary

Caroline Hudson has always gone after what she wants. Leaving the wilderness to pursue a medical degree in Boston would seem unfathomable to most. Being taken seriously as a woman doctor may be her biggest obstacle to overcome. An unexpected offer appears to provide every opportunity for which she had hoped, until a face appears from the shadows to remind her of what she truly wants.

From the moment they first met, Trevor Wilder has had a special bond with the intelligent girl who shared his mountain valley. Their common interests and close friendship create a bond not easily broken. He is stunned and hurt when she decides to leave, but her happiness outweighs his desire to direct her future.

Wanting to see her family again before settling into a life in Boston, Caroline couldn't ask for a better guide than Trevor. As they journey westward, childhood perceptions fall away, and true character comes to light. Love sometimes means letting go, but will they be able to tell each other how they feel before they lose what has been in front of them all along?

Did not disappoint

Cody gave a great performance. Peggy continued the story of the the Hudson sisters and the Wilder brothers. Romance and adventure. I am ready for the next story already.

Great story and narration as usual!

I loved the rest of the series but I think this was my favorite so far...I would bet there's another favorite coming up as soon as the next book is released!
Both main characters are likeable and have chemistry. The romance is definitely there, which is of course important in a romance novel!
I love historical Western romance because I like the era and a good wholesome romance story. We get that with this book and series. I don't want to spoil the story at all, but it leaves you with that nice feeling you want to experience after reading a romance story. I truly enjoy stories written like this.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Caroline's Passion! Peggy wrote a wonderful story and Cody Roberts was an amazing narrator. For me there were no negatives. I loved everything about it.

A Great Read

I love this and all the books in the Wilderness Brides series. I don't remember getting so emotionally involved in the other ones as I did this one. Caroline and Trevor have been best friends for years, but both of them have been in denial of how their feelings have grown into something more. She accepts the proposal of the wrong man, and then the journey ensues. At one point I got so angry I tossed my Kindle - for only a few minutes because I couldn't put it down. It is the mark of an excellent writer and awesome narrator who can get me so emotionally charged. I am looking forward to Josie's story!

Peggy, you did it again!!!!

Another great story. The story starts with a family reunion. Trevor comes home. It make one think about how good the old times are. Then the story moves to Boston. Caroline has graduated from the doctor's college. Peggy really brings it home how women were discriminated during this time. Men don't want to believe that she is a true physician. And she get engaged. Trevor shows up. Peggy kept me guessing which way the story was going. But it is a happy ending. Cody did a great job of narrating too.

Caroline's Passion is awesome!

This is the third book in the Wilderness Brides series. Before listening make sure that you start with Cora's Pride. All of Ms. Henderson's books are awesome to read. You truly feel like you are there...but when Cody Roberts narrates the book it completes the whole package! I can't wait to listen to the next book in the series....once it gets written!

Wilderness Brides Book 3

Always enjoy Peggy L Henderson's books. This one takes us to Boston where Caroline has become a doctor. I forget that women were not thought to be able to be in a "man's profession" Caroline is a strong woman and is able to prove her worth as a doctor. Her trip back to Harley's Hole is well written and enjoyable. Such interesting adventures. Thanks Peggy for another excellent book and series. Looking forward to Book 4

The saga continues and it does NOT disapoint!

This third book of the Wilderness Brides series is GREAT!

Caroline has always wanted to be a doctor. She is encouraged by the area "white woman healer" to go back east to get her education. So she does, but she also left her best friend and must face a world that only tolerates women who want to be educated. It is time to graduate and now must face some very hard decisions.

Trevor has been Caroline's "big brother figure", best friend and fellow student when it comes to wilderness medicine. He has fallen in love with her, but will not admit it. Her departure is agony to his heart so he leaves to try and forget her by living a life of adventure. When it is time for Caroline's graduation from medical school, he does not know what to do with her or his heart, but finds himself escorting Caroline and a "friend" back home to meet the family.

Will Trevor reveal his heart to Caroline before it is too late and will Caroline see Trevor as more than a "big brother" figure and her best friend?

I LOVED this book! Peggy once again does a great job with her characters and stories. You can tell that this was a labor of love. Cody Roberts rocks it too! I love the way he tells Peggy's stories! Cannot wait for book 4!!!!

Note: This book was given to me and I voluntarily have given this honest review.
