Good story

It had a good storyline! But in would have liked a more feminine voice. I have heard narrators have a good female voice and be able to produce a good male voice as well. I really liked it!!

Quick Shifter Read

This was a very fast listen, Only 4 hours long. Is it worth a full credit? No, only because of how short it is. Was it entertaining and with no cliff hangers? Yes. Is it a BDSM with lots of sex and drama? Not really. It just has a little spanking. The Hero is Maxwell, a young hot alpha who married Josephine (who is trying to protect her friend from being forced to marry Maxwell. Maxwell is hiding something important from Josephine and of course he can't tell her. Although, you don't know what that is until much later. Josephine has self image issues that Maxwell addresses constantly.

Maxine Mitchell made this story a fun experience and I'll definitely be continuing the series because I listened to this through Audible escape and because I liked Maxine Mitchell's narration abilities. I'll definitely be listening to more of her narrations too. Her masculine voices are great and she doesn't have a nasally voice that makes all books sound the same.

Georgette St. Clair picked a great narrator and hopefully she'll continue with such great choices. Her story is short but makes an awareness possible to changes in time, abuse, some kinky aspects like 50 shades of grey without all the drama and sexual detailing. her characters were not completely fleshed out but they were full enough to compliment the story. There was enough details that you obtained details about the personality and moral characters that were really a part of the story. I will definitely be listening to more of her stories and if there are some that are not on audible I would read them too.

Totally enjoyed this book. Was the first one I listened to by this author. Was great story and had a great story line. Loved the characters and the narrations.

Sexy Shape Shifters

I love these hot, sexy shape shiftier stories.. It is times like these when we need a little fantasy in our lives. This series promises to be sizzling. I cannot wait to listen to the next audio book.

I miss GSC’s earlier Fluff

This is supposed to be light, fluff reading and the storyline starts that way with Josephine posing as the Bride in place of Camille, but Alpha Maxwell takes the switch in stride. Then it goes dark. Camille’s step uncle is the abusive Alpha of her previous pack and there’s also political and magical corruption going on. Josephine and Maxwell’s very lives are at risk. Sheesh
The good news is Mitchell’s narration. She does a great job, same as her contemporary urban romances. This makes 12 Mitchell narrations in my library.

Great start to the Series.

The story was great, the plot, the love, and the love making. Can’t wait to see what’s up next in the Peak!

This was a fun listen and I loved how Max took Josephine and worshiped her like she’s never had done before. There’s a lot of twist and turns in this one so make sure your buckled in.
