Short, sweet, steamy fun listen

What does a cowboy do when he inherits a ranch that is falling down around him….he looks for ways to make it pay. In steps Sabrina an Adventure Coordinator who tries to put the ranch back on its feet with Trevor dragging his heels all the way. If you are looking for a fun, steamy read this is the story for you.

Trevor is a list maker, stick to a time frame where Sabrina is more of a free spirit looking at trash and making something wonderful out of it. These two butts heads every chance they get. Yes Trevor knows she is there to bring the ranch back into the black but he doesn’t want his life to change he wants her to work around him and his men doing her thing but leaving him out of it.

Ms. Roberts as always gives you a wonderful audio that is free of background noise. Her tones are right on point giving lots of emotion with just the correct pause between sentences. Her character voices are clear, lively showing every emotion her characters feel. Her male voices are strong manly, her female sweet and sexy showing innocents when they might not be so innocent. I love how she bring the story to life as she puts emotion into her read never leaving you guess as to how the character feels or what they are thinking. She always delivers a high quality audio that is highly entertaining. There are no volume changes, if any breaks were taken I could not tell, the audio is very clear and clean just a pleasure to listen to. She truly has a lovely voice with wonderful character voices it is really surprising how many different voices she has that sounds so different and truly fits each character.

I enjoyed watching Sabrina take nothing and making something beautiful out of it and the conflict Trevor and her have over it. Trevor thinks she is all glamour with nothing much in the brain department. Lord the ideas she comes up with and her outfits are just not for ranch life. Well she does look wonderful in those tight fitting jeans but really……Sabrina thinks he is good looking and what a body but Lord the roadblocks he puts up. I loved when they washed the horse what fun and hummm how it turned out. I really had to chuckle.

The story has a great plot with some very heated steam. It is fun and keeps you smiling as these two come together sparks fly giving the reader a very entertaining listen.

A good romance

This was a good old fashion cowboy romance and I liked it. I did however miss that little extra feeling of being in the story.

The narrator did a good job, her voice is comfortable listening to and pronunciation is clear.
I miss a mal voice but that’s because I prefer dual reading.

Fantastic story!

This was a sweet romance that made me LOL at times while listening. The characters were relatable, fun & often butted heads. I was given an advance copy of this audio book for an honest review.

Great narration job by Rebecca Roberts. Clean and well pronounced words. Good character definitions.

First, I want to say that I did enjoy it. I’d love to say the story was intricate and well grounded but I can’t. The background to the ranch’s economic problem was quickly dealt out and the solution of Glamping was suddenly there with no secret plans or twists of fate that delivered Sabrina to the ranch. Her plans weren’t revealed enough to define the Glamping experience over all and her dread that she messes everything up, well, nothing seemed too bad to me. It was cute how Trevor fell for the glittery Sabrina, even before she showed her ranch experience, albeit little. I think she could have been a stronger presence than portrayed to balance the ruggedness of Trevor. The fact he was a twin didn’t play into anything, really; another missed opportunity.

Summed up, it was a light and cute romance. Nothing to think hard about. No deep drama, just some good sexy chemistry.

This was a very nice book. It was greatly entertaining. I just wish it had been a little longer.

Rules are ment to be broken

A fast paced "on the ranch" romance read that will make you wanna swoon in Trevor's broodiness. This is book 1 in North's Wildhorse Ranch Brothers series and I'm looking forward to seeing what's next for these brothers. Well written with good flow to the storyline. Perfect balance of sweet and steamy. Character chemistry was great from the start and I love all the city meets ranch dynamic between Trevor and Sabrina. Which brother will be the next to fall in love?!?

Short and Sweet

Trevor is stickler for rules and schedules. Sabrina is a little more carefree. Its wonderful to watch them balance each other out.
I really loved the characters. It was sweet, had some steamy parts and even made me laugh in parts.
It's worth the listen.

A short, entertaining story with a great narration

I listened to the audio version of this book. This was my first by this author and I really enjoyed it.
It doesn't seem possible for the characters of Trevor and Sabrina to be any more different. Trevor is a really uptight rancher that really doesn't want anything to do with the glamping scheme that has been put in place to try to save his family ranch. He has a list of rules longer than his arm that Sabrina, a fly-by-the-seat-of-her-pants kind of girl, isn't having more than a little trouble dealing with. She's trying, but it's really hard. Throw in the attraction between the two and you've really got a troublesome mess.
I think my favorite part of the book was when Sabrina went across the street to the junk yard and got some things she wanted to use as headboards. That caused quite a ruckus. You'll have to read the book to find out why.

Great Read

Breaking the Cowboy's Rules was anther great read by Leslie North. Trevor is a ranch owner who is in serious financial trouble. He is looking for any way to save the ranch. Sabrina is a glamping guru who may be exactly what the ranch needs. She wants to renovate the ranch for glamping. They both try to fight the attraction they have for each other. I can’t wait to read more by Leslie North.

Cowboy Trouble

I enjoyed the main characters. They but heads at the start of the story but I love the tension this creates. They eventually learn to enjoy each other. This was a fun story that ended way too soon.
