good read

so emotional but very good. this book has great highs and severe lows. r.k lilley goes all in.

Every emotion possible

I cried, laughed, was turned on, brought back to my first love, angered, felt betrayed, beyond in love. You name it these two books made me feel it.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Phenomenal Duet!

I was completely hooked the moment I started the first book, their chemistry was palpable. Parts of the story were hard to listen to, heartbreaking, but SO MUCH good and love. These two books were addicting, probably one of my very favorite stories, i won't forget about them! Good chance I'll be reading this series over and over, its THAT good. Oh, and one of the best parts, the sex in the book was perfection. You could truly feel each situation. I didn't cringe once, truly excellent writing!

Gut wrenching !

this is a gut-wrenching but beautiful story with a HEA thank God ending!
I has a lot of twists and turns to keep everyone on the edges of their seats! ENJOY!

Rollercoaster romance, I felt all the feels!

I bow down to R.K. Lilley yet again. Why can't she just turn into a story making machine and pump new books out every month?! I'd be so happy. This is a love story spanning many years. And despite there being past/present portions and quite a few characters, it was easy to follow along and understand. I've listened to sooo many audiobooks on here but R.K. Lilley's are my favorites. Loved this so much, I'm sad that it's over! Read it, there's no way you could be disappointed.

Is it worth it?

If you got hooked with the first part, and wanted to find answer to all those cliffhangers and questions unsolved... well with this final book you won’t be disappointed! It is filled with plot twist, suspense, drama, surprises and love. But not just the typical “happy ever after” love; the “let’s grow and be stronger together” kind of love.
Just beautiful!

LONG BUT PRETTY GOOD!!!

Even though this book was split up into two books, the story was good. Great narration as well.

This series took the cake for me

I think I this series was awesome, it really had some unique spins on it, where it just kept you guessing, mystery, sex, love... this is one of the best series that I've listen to in a long time. also it really showed how deep love really runs and what you should be willing to do for it. love is truly a battle.

What a ride!

Wear your seatbelt for this one. There are triggers, so proceed with caution - but it is one hell of a ride! Holy dark, gut-wrenching mistakes, Batman! Everything I wrote in my review of book 1 applies to this one as well. While listening to this duet I have cursed R.K. Lilley's name, growled in frustration & wondered at the sheer amount of toxic dysfunction, self recrimination, targeted self-serving vehemence & LOVE in this book. Dante is the antihero I needed him to be in the most despicable, most frustratingly soul-shattering, soul-crushing way possible! I would like to have had more of Dante's point of view to get more of his side of the story, but what Scarlet endures broke my heart piece by piece as they let go of their baggage and the full story was uncovered.

Jason Clarke and Sarah Naughton both delivered excellent performances in this emotional and difficult story. Jason is one of my favorite narrators, so that comes as no surprise. Loved it, even though it was painful at times!

So Good

I really enjoyed Breaking Her. The author did a great job bringing everything full circle and letting us see how things that happened with Dante and especially Scarlett in the past helped them heal in the present. It was a very healing time for those two and they really came together as a team and I that's what I liked the most.

Now I wish the ending didnt just wrap up all of a sudden like it did. For this book to be as dramatic as it was, I felt that I deserved a big crazy ending. That's not what I got. So I'm a lot disappointed about that.

The narration was so very good. I loved the narrators. They were so great and amazing to listen to. Just a perfect audiobook to listen to.
