Nice!
I like a bit of historical erotica!!
I love the fact that the laird was a woman... then she kidnapped her hunky highlander... a plus! Great story... nice smexy romance...
Good credit or sale...
Narration was pretty darn good too!

Sensual Highland Romance
A chance meeting at fair day led to a promise between the children of two rival clans. A promise to wed when they were old enough and to take no other as their husband/wife. But in the case of Brianna MacLeod she's given no choice by her father but to wed her cousin as she's the Laird to be for her clan.
When her husband is killed, seemingly by Ewan Fraser's brother, and she loses not only her father from an illness, but the baby within her, she plans on revenge. A revenge that will give her a child and perhaps bring an end to the battles between the clans.
What she didn't count on was how sexy her childhood promised husband would be.
As for Ewan... Brianna is everything he's dreamed of in a woman. But he isn't going to let his heart melt. She broke her promise to him. Not just that but didn't even have the courage to respond to his letters. She might take his seed, as his body isn't opposed to the idea, but not his heart.
A sensual highland romance and the narrator managed to bring life to the romance and connection between the two.

Better than I expected
This was the first book in the blaze series I have ever listened to. It had a much better story line than I expected. The sex was a bit too much for me and I don't think i'll be listening to more from blaze unless the story captures my attention as this one did. I love highland romance stories.

Bound To Please is a short but sweet treasure
Brianna MacLeod and Ewan Fraser met at a gathering as very young teens. They capture each other’s heart. They promise to marry but evil doers who are plotting to destroy Brianna family keep them apart. Flash forward 10 years and Brianna is now the new laird of her clan and she wants a child to help establish her position, so she kidnaps her long ago love Ewan.That is when all the fun starts. This story is packed with emotion and romance. This is a Blaze romance so it does not disappoint in that respect, you get the hot steamy romantic parts, but to my surprise this story was very touching and had a great story line. I actually purchased this story back in 2010 and decided to listen to it again and wanted to review it. I think I liked it even better the 2nd time around. This was a great little book; I just want to find more from this author. And yes the narration was terrific. Well worth the credit.

DON'T OVERLOOK THIS SHORT STEAMING MEDIEVAL STORY
Blaze books often seem to get overlooked for more 'substantial' novels but I took a chance as I just love beefy handsome men in kilts (I know - I'm beyond redemption!!).
Well, what a great find - totally implausible raunchy plot (but good anyway), likeable characters, good sub-plots, sexy Highlanders and, of course, lots and lots of sex.
Worth a credit? Even tho it's just 6 hrs long I'd say a definite YES, but if you can't take the 'heat' in your historical romances or need them to be historically acurate then don't buy this.

Too Short!
I love books featuring the Scottish highlands, so this book was very enjoyable to me. It just wasn't long enough. It needed to flesh out Columb and Alice's relationship a bit more.
The narrator also could have been a little better with her accent and character distinction, but all-in-all it was a good listen. If you like this sort of book, check out the Highland series by Karen Marie Moning. Great stuff!

Bound to Please
Amazing! This book the first Romance novel I've ever hear or read and I wasn't disappointed. The author goes into great detail with lots of juicy scenes and there couldn't have been a better fitted narrator, her accent helps give the feel of Scotland. You can't help but fall in love with characters wit and stubbornness.
