Publisher's Summary

Alyssa

A call on a Friday evening. My handsome boss, Julian Marcus, wants me in the office.

Something like this has never happened before. I should see it for what it is.

Mr. Marcus wants to seduce me. Me. Alyssa. A 21-year-old woman who has never been touched before.

But he doesn't know that. Nor do I know how to handle a standoffish man like him - in the office, or in the bedroom.

Julian

Alyssa was supposed to be a nameless girl in a city full of nobodies.

But I'm the boss. What I want, I get. And if I want her to be my girlfriend, the sweet, untouched woman I mold into my perfect lover?

I get that.

If I order her to give me every part of her, she will. I dare her to disobey.

I don't think she will.

Good Listen

Julian makes a bet to seduce Alicia but he ends up keeping her. Everything is going as planned until she finds out about the bet. Now he has to figure how to get her back, the question is, is he worth it? Great narration. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator.

I'm too old for this...

I'm not into someone else making decisions for me. The male lead in this book was too bossy for me and without his money, he didn't have much going for him other than looks. I found the book reminiscent of Fifty Shades, but without the kink. The narrator did a great performance with the various characters and distinguishable voices. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. The storyline of this book is steamy and well done for a younger woman, older man relationship. I would listen to more books by this author and narrator in the future.

Office Romance

Narrator Review:
Sierra Kline did an awesome job narrating this book. The males voice from a female narrator is the one thing I am pretty picky about and Sierra did a great job. I had no problems distinguishing the different characters she impersonated. I will listen to more books narrated by Sierra.

Story Review:
Julian brags to his business partner, Preston that he could have anyone he wanted. To prove this, Preston bets him he can't seduce one of the interns to sleep with hem within two hours. As proof, Julian must give Preston her panties. What he wasn't expecting was that he would want more after seducing her.

This was not a good start for a story for me and probably why I couldn't warm up to Julian until almost the end of the book. The arrogance of these two men were unbelieveable. Julian is your typical billionaire who doesn't believe in love and sees women as only an avenue to release tension.

Despite Julian and Alyssa being together for pretty much the whole book, which I love, it took a long time before I believed Julian actually had feelings for her instead of her being just a convenience. Admittedly, I am not a fan of this type of Hero so this is more a me issue than the book.

What I did love was that despite not seeing the feelings from him, he took very good care of Alyssa. I am a big fan of the Cinderella trope and get enjoyment out of reading about a man spoiling their woman.

There is other women drama in this and I wanted Alyssa to stop being so nice and put her in her place but in the scheme of things, it wasn't a huge part in the story. Over all I would have liked to see Julian showing more love than lust earlier on in the story.

I purchased the kindle version of this book, however I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

HOTTTTT!!!

Would you listen to Bossed by the Billionaire again? Why?

I received a free copy in exchange for an unbiased review. This book had my driving the longer route to listen longer. It all started with a dare by Julian's business partner Preston. He dared his he couldn't seduce a women in a few hours. Julian was cocky enough to accept the challenge. What stated as a challenged turned to more very quickly after he took Alyssa's V card. He had no idea what he had gotten himself into. This book was HOTT all of the scenes were very descriptive and full of steam. I would read this one over again.

My Thoughts on Bossed by the Billionaire

This book took me a while to really get a feel for the author's writing style. The dialog felt like it was a mix between contemporary and old fashioned. Things like "Give me an heir" "I'll be very cross" and "Rather homely" in a story that I took to be set in a modern day and age just didn't really seem to gel at first. But after a while I simply got used to it.

The leading lady Alyssa was one of the naive types who is untouched and a virgin in the beginning but falls easily into the new world introduced to her by the dominant man in her life. The leading man Julian was cold and work focused, but slowly changes as he falls for Alyssa. This storyline overall is one I'm a fan of. And the narrator for the story did an excellent job in my opinion. Any moments that I didn't love in the story weren't because of her narration, but because of the lines she had to say while portraying one of the main or secondary characters.

In the end I found the story to be entertaining enough for me to finish, especially since I got to listen to it, but it won't necessarily be one that I rave about.

Good storyline

I enjoyed listening to this book and I like the storyline. Some of the best parts are when the male character finally comes together, at first he didn’t have my vote but the author brings him out after all.
I was given this book for my honest review.

Long but Good

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. The story was good, but 11 hours challenged my ADD. There were some missed opportunities in the story, i.e., why wasn't Julian and his partner's relationship challenged when his partner confronted Alyssa? There were several others. Plus, what was Alyssa's final test for Julian? That was not clear. The narrator did a good job as well.
