Publisher's summary

Lawyer Allison English never planned to return to The Den - despite her naughty fantasies about being bound by owner Seth Matthews. But when club guest Tyler Wysong is injured in a scene, Seth turns to Allie for help. Aroused by both men, Allie should turn the case down. But she can't....

After his bad experience, Tyler has no interest in being with another dom. Yet he can't deny his attraction to Master Seth. When Seth offers him a place to stay, Tyler agrees - if Allie will stay, too. But what good is a chaperone who adds to his temptation?

Living with two subs brings out Seth's protective instincts, though Allie insists she's not into the lifestyle, and Tyler swears he's done with it. But the chemistry between the trio prompts them to agree to submit to him for one week, and he'll show them both the true pleasure that a dom can provide.

The intimacy could break them all, or bind them together forever....

It had its sizzlen moments....

This is the third book in the series. It was a likable story but not lovable. There was an ice cube scene that was delicious. A menage between 2 men and 1 woman. A control freak lawyer, a male escort, and a bdsm club owner. None like pain but all want each other. The plot of the story wasn't strong but the steamy parts make up for it. Tyler the escort gets hired to be submissive in Seth's bdsm club, the scene has to be stopped because it crosses the line. This dom is actually a politician who thinks he can get away with abusing & raping someone out of commission. Seth feels protective &responsible for Tyler. Seth offers a lawyer friend to do pro bono work if Tyler wants to press charges. Of course, he refuses. During all this, they all realize they want each other...together forever. Only after they deal with their own obstacles to be happy together.

Three's Company

I had to give this one 4 stars just because the sexual climate is so hot. I did like book 1&2 better due to the fact the I enjoyed the stories better. This book was more about the sex and that's ok but a little more story attached would of been nice. The ending seemed a little rushed and would of been much better if it had been enhanced. If your looking for some MMF erotica then you'll like this one.

Hot and very steamy story

I love the whole series of Wicked Play and this book was just as good. The story of Seth, Ally and Tyler was really sexy and emotional. Lots of hot sex scenes with MMF action. I think Emily Caldwell did a pretty good job but her male voices need some work. Overall worth the credit

Book opens with a rape scene

I don't mean a rape scene like two people consenting to act out a rape scene. I mean an actual rape of a male submissive by a male dominant including whipping to the point of blood and non consensual, unlubricated anal sex. I wish I'd seen reviews that pointed this out. Or a trigger warning in the synopsis. If so, I never would have bought the book. Unfortunately, while I managed to continue reading and got through the book, I couldn't get past that opening scene to actually enjoy the story or the characters. I'm disappointed to the point that I don't know if I can read any more of the series, maybe not any more of the author. I'm also asking for my money back.

Monotone narrator but hot, hot story!

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The story was good, but its the narrator I would change. Even the hottest sex scenes fizzled because of the monotone style reading.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Emily Caldwell?

Jill Redfield, Alice Clayton, Adam Paul or Clarissa Knightly

Did Bonds of Desire inspire you to do anything?

This audio book inspired me to get the ebook version.

Hot story, but a bit contrived

If you are looking for a book that has a decent plot and will whisk you away to another place where you can listen to hotter than hot scenes....then get this book.

Sometimes when I listen to an erotic book I feel like the book is one big sex scene, with a bit of dialogue, but in this case there was a lot of dialogue in between the sex scenes, and that was nice. The drama was a bit contrived in my opinion, so I can't give it 5 stars, but it was a nice a hot listen.

This is the only book I have listened to in the wicked play series so I feel confident in saying it is fine for a standalone listen because while there were a few references to past events it didn't detract from this story.

In a previous book apparently Ally attended a party at "The Den", the notorious leather club lay out their fantasies. One of the owners, a Dominant names Seth, was intrigued by her....but she was still too vanilla to be ready for him so he didn't approach her. Tyler is a male escort in this book, yes, he gets paid to be a sub or be anything the Dom who is paying wants him to be for a few hours. Tyler was a guest in the club of Master Rex...Seth watched on closed video as Tyler was beaten, and brutally attacked by Master Rex....he had noticed Tyler before...and hated to see the man brutalized but without the safe word being used there is nothing he could do...once Tyler asked for his abuse to stop and Master Rex didn't Seth was able to rush in...but Tyler was beaten badly...too badly....what had Seth allowed to happen! Seth is determined to get a lawyer for Tyler...even though the man has said repeatedly that he is just a whore...anything is allowed to happen to a whore....when Ally appears to sooth Tyler and represent him the sparks fly. What she can't figure out though is why she sees the sparks flying between Tyler and Seth...and Seth and her...and her and Tyler...that's not right....how can that be? Watching the three of them explore what can be and what can't be is the fun of this book.

I'd say this book is worth the credit if you want something HOT, without drama, and for sure if it ever goes on Sale. It wasn't a 5 star master piece, but it works for what it is.

Love Heat and Trust x3

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Lynda Aicher has come to the party once again with another excellent hot and emotional story. The trust and love that developed between Allison Seth and Tyler is inspiring. Trust (although can be the hardest and scariest hurdle) can heal one's soul just as much as love if you can take a chance and grab on to what is in front of you. I Loved this story as much as the previous two and Hope there is many more books to come in the series.

AnotherGreat installment in the Wicked Play Series

If you could sum up Bonds of Desire in three words, what would they be?

Edgy, Hot & Sexy

What was one of the most memorable moments of Bonds of Desire?

The opening scenes are pretty violent and NOT for the faint of heart. However, the first meeting of Seth, Tyler & Allison at Seth's house AFTER sets the tempo for the rest of the book. This book is one of the most intriguing and stimulating I've read.

But the chemistry between the trio prompts them to agree to submit to him for one week, and he'll show them both the true pleasure that a dom can provide.

What does Emily Caldwell bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She does a great job and brings reality to the book through her narration. She gives each character their own, individual voice.

Any additional comments?

This contains explicit scenes with mature themes. There is both M/F, M/M & M/M/F intimacy.

Strong language & violent descriptions.

I do not like this reader, but the story was great

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

the relationship between the three were good because our heroine was strong and tender, a rare combo. Tyler is a dreamboat

Not As Good as the First Two Books in this Series

This is one of those trilogies where the author should have stopped at two. The book was not terrible, but the plot came across as false and forced. The characters didn't seem to have chemistry and nothing in the plot ever explained why they found each other attractive and desirable. It certainly never explained the emotional bond we were supposed to believe existed between them at the end of the book. None of them seemed remotely interested in the lifestyle that is the foundation of the series. The previous books spent time developing the characters back story so you understood why they were the way they were. This book attempted to do the same, but did not provide sufficient background or insight into the characters personality to make them remotely interesting or sympathetic. Perhaps because there were three main characters instead of two the author didn't think they had sufficient time to develop all three.

All in all, this isn't a bad book, just a boring one, which never rises to the level of the previous two books in this series. I was disappointed.
