This was a good quick listen. I enjoyed the story and characters. The story flowed at a great pace. Lissa Blackwell did a good job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Another good quick listen

I got this book via audiobook boom. This was a funny, quirky story that made me listen until the end. the narration was good and moved the story along. The story could have been flushed out little more but it still made sense. enjoyed it.

Great Quick Read

Bobby and the Billionaire by Simone Carter was a great read. Bobby has lived a tough life full of abuse. Ahe left everything in order to take care of her sister and niece. She goes on a job interview where circumstances had her meet Sam and everything changes for her. I loived reading this book.

enjoyable short story

I have not read or listened to a book by this author before. I would listen or read another one. It is a good quick listen. It was predictable but that didn't take away from my enjoyment because I have read so many books that most stories are predictable to me. I really enjoyed listening to the narrator she has a pleasant smooth voice that lures you in. I could listen to her all day. I think others will enjoy the book as well. A wonderful hot fairytale romance. 2 very strong will individuals who know what they want. Although not necessarily the same thing.

I appreciated the back story of domestic abuse. Note: there are triggers in this story.

Cover Doesn’t Work

In the book Bobbie is NOT the seductive one. She is mistrusting of men and the cover shows a bonafide vixen...
But the story was cute. It was short and Simone does a good job of building characters in a short story.
I’ve listened to Lissa Blackwell many times and she’s a professional. Very good job.

What did you love best about Bobby and the Billionaire?

I enjoyed the story. The characters were likable, and it was a good plot line

What other book might you compare Bobby and the Billionaire to and why?

I can't really pin point one, but I can say it does compare to other office romance genre books.

Which character – as performed by Lissa Blackwell – was your favorite?

Sam. I actually enjoyed his character and the way she performed him, was slightly less fast paced when his character was speaking. It slowed down the quickness of the story some.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I liked how Bobby was strong but also unsure, though the things she got angry about seemed a little blown out of proportion to me.

Any additional comments?

This is a full story, but it is a quick one. I feel like it could have been fleshed out a little more and longer. There was enough story to slow down the pace a little and make it seem less rushed in a way. Over all I enjoyed it, it is a full story, I wasn't left feeling like pieces were missing, I would have enjoyed it slightly more if the were just expanded on. If you lack the time to dedicate to longer audiobooks this is a great book to get. I obtained this copy for free from audiobook boom for my unbiased review.
