Publisher's Summary

He can seduce with a single glance.

Peering down at a sea of fans, rock star Mitchell Davies can't deny the innocent beauty of a woman in the front row. He'll stop at nothing to get to know her. When a public altercation leaves her weak and defenseless, he takes the opportunity to be her savior.

She's been sheltered from the world.

Alana Shelton wants to spread her wings and experience life away from her restrictive upbringing. But she isn't prepared for a gorgeous stranger to sweep her off her feet while at her most vulnerable.

Attraction will bring them together, but their pasts will try to tear them apart.

He wants to teach her how to trust, but she'll show him how to love.

In a glamorous world of rock-and-roll, only time will tell if they're up for the challenge.

"Blind girl / rock star, what could possibly happen here?"

Great story, steamy scenes , better with D.C. , Tracy was a bit clinical at times.... thus the 4 star on performance... still a worthy trip! Anxious to get to the rest of the group...

    "Easy listen."

I had a lot of interruptions while listening to this one, so I might have gotten lost at times. Dual narrations are hard for me because I get 2 separate sets of characters portrayed in my mind, unless each narrator is doing all of the parts for certain characters. Overall, it was an easy listen. Alana was a bit confusing at times, but I think she was supposed to be due to her background. D.C. Cole did an amazing job, as usual. And, I found a lot of the interplay between the band members quite humorous and entertaining.

    "Touching Rock Star Romance 🎸🎵"

This one is unlike other "Rock Star" romances because the heroine, Alana, is indifferent to the whole "Rock" scene. The hero, Mitchell, is the hot lead guitarist 🎸who is immediately infatuated with Alana. Their romance is fun, sweet, and has a bit of humor. This is a nice start to the series.🌠

I really enjoyed the dual narration of this book. They both did a good job and I'm looking forward to listening to more books they've narrated.👏

Note: FYI......This book contains detailed sex and strong language.

I was voluntarily provided a copy of this book in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I don't give spoilers so I hope my reviews help. 😉

    "Mitch Rocked Alana's World!"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Great story for Rock Star Romances fans!

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The plot was different from what I was expecting, which was a pleasant surprise. The name of the book describes the story perfectly.

    What I liked most:
    * The Hot Rock Star Band! I enjoyed the comradery and banter between the band members, along with laugh out loud moments and the steamy scenes that were HOT! I also liked the dual narration.

There really wasn't any part of the story I didn't like, but if I had to choose it would be:
    * Mitch and Alana were instantly attracted to each other, which I can totally buy into; however, I thought they could have used more time together to build up the chemistry between them instead of the "insta love" feeling.
    * The story felt like there were a few loose ends especially around Alana's past and her family drama. This piece of the story left me with an empty feeling, and I would have loved to have seen a better HEA for her family. However, I did love how Mitch was very protective of Alana and wanted to be there for her.

Which character – as performed by Tracy Marks and D.C. Cole – was your favorite?

I enjoyed both Track Marks and D.C. Cole's performance. Tracy did a great job delivering all the emotions Alana's character was feeling, especially the angst. Cole has great voice that's deep and I could listen to anything he narrates.

    Any additional comments?

    "Enjoyable story with Insta-Love"

    3.5 Stars

I enjoyed this story but there was some scenes that I just couldn't wrap my head around. The writing was good and the basics of the story line were good. We have a girl who has only ever been touched (at all & in any way) by 4 men in her life because her mom has issues and thinks all men are evil. She is in just out of college so she isn't real young, just a bit naive and skittish. Then we have a rock star who for the most part is living the rock star life style so he is far from innocent. Without giving a spoiler, I'll just say it was just a little far fetched. The reason for the average 3.5 star rating is because they fell in love in like 3 days, I do not enjoy insta-love because I just can't ever feel the connection when there isn't much getting to know each other or past. With a little more time and if she hadn't shed her innocent/timid act 5 minutes after she met him I would have loved this book.

The narration was 50/50 for me. I LOVE Tracy Marks, she did a great job. D.C. Cole was good but I don't think he fit the character of Mitch, he sounded to old to me.

    "Sweet Rockstar Story"
What did you love best about Blind Attraction?

It's s story of opposites attract with romance, comedy and of course rock stars. The characters have great chemistry, the story has hot sex scenes, and the authors humor in the story keeps you on your toes.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Blind Attraction?

I loved the interactions between the bandmates and who they love to tease each other and Alana when they walked out of the bedroom the last night they were in Richmond together before they went on their promo tour. You can tell there is a lot of respect and love for Mitchell and also that they can tell there is something special there between Mitchell and Alana too by the way the tease her too. They all accepted her and treated her with respect and she did the same.

What does Tracy Marks and D.C. Cole bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Both narrators did a great job telling the story and bringing the characters to life. You felt their emotions, thoughts and painted the story. Tracy brought the shy side of the character perfectly into the narration and DC Cole brought the protective and Rock Star side out of Mitchell. Both narrators were seamless together in this book.

    Any additional comments?

    "4 Reckless Stars"
    Any additional comments?

Blind Attraction was a well written book. While I am not a huge fan of rock star romances, or books involving famous people in general, this book was actually really good! The main and secondary characters were well developed and kept you intrigued.

I enjoyed learning about Alana and about how her upbringing was. I thoroughly enjoyed the friendship her and Kate had. I adored how Kate brought out the more adventurous side in her.

"I can't take a single breath without wishing I was touching you."

Mitch and most of the other band mates weren't your typical rock stars. I enjoyed seeing the caring side of him, even if parts of the story wasn't quite as believable as I would have liked.

Mitch and Alana's chemistry started out as a slow simmer, which was sweet. I'm glad he respected her and how her past was. But at the same time, everything seemed to happen in this whirlwind of 48 hours. It was a crazy time vortex.

"I want to take my time. I want to taste you, savor you, and have you fall asleep in my arms."

I was given an arc audio copy of this book, and I must admit this wasn't my most favorite audio I've ever listened to. The female narrator was fine, but she took some getting use to. It took me a little bit longer to get use to the male narrator. I think maybe he just didn't fit the character to me....I'm not sure. By the end, it was fine and I didn't think anything of it, but the beginning was a bit of a struggle.
