Destiny's next chapter

The men have scattered in search of their lost sister Iona while Jami is left to rest comfortably at the Keep with the women. Her twin sister is locked up in the dungeons below waiting for the prophecy to take her last breath. Jami, unable to idly sit and wait, devises a plan to solve all their problems. Releasing her twin Blair they head out on an adventure to trick the Fae King, save Iona, and make it home before Devlin finds out and catches up to her.

Jami is steadfast in her determination to save the only living relative she has, even if Blair had just tried to kill her days before. With the help of a raven, the Oracle, Green Jack, and her strong devoted Highland Warrior Jami sets out to banish the Fae King, save her sister, and the land of Faery.

.Delectable Destiny

Some have called the ending "cliffhanger," but I wouldn't say so. (I absolutely hate them, and I did not have the desire to throw my device when it ended, so…) It does end with more of the story needing to be told, but I would say it's more of a "To Be Continued," WHICH is OK with me because: 1- Part 3 is out soon and 2- Part 2 is long enough that it's worth a credit. (These are MY criteria, based on MY peeves. If you're cool with one book being broken into pieces of less than 6-8 hours and waiting ages for some resolution, bless you. I'm not down with that.)
so all in all I really enjoyed this story but beware it's a cliffy. Not a terrible cliffy but it does feel like it kind of cuts off abruptly. This book was sweet and twisty with lots of secrets and misdirection. I liked most of the characters a lot but I will definitely be listening to book 3when it comes out on audio!
It's a whirlwind of emotions. Quite probably, the best in the series.the stories, the souls -- everything combines with a well-built plot, an expanded universe and realistic, flawed portrayals of characters in order to deliver the best kind of chills. Lesley Parkin was a true delight to listen to and was very enchanting.I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher. As always this is my honest opinion

Great series

Would you listen to Blair's Destiny again? Why?

Yes I would as I really love the characters and the series

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jamie. I just loved how much she grown into this timeframe she had been dropped into

Have you listened to any of Lesley Parkin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, It was wonderful as she also narratored book one and I loved hearing the same voices I fell in love with in book one

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

yes when Jamie and Jack were searching for Blair to help her overcome the darkness

Any additional comments?

This is part of a series so we are left hanging in the end. It wasn't a horrible way to end it but it does leave us wanting more of the story. I love these characters so I can't wait to read/listen to more of them.
Well worth a credit

Blair's Destiny

Any additional comments?

Good second installment. While the story was entertaining and overall very enjoyable it just didn't hold my attention as completely as the first book did. Not sure why. It had every one of the same elements that the first book did and it is a really good story. It's full of intrigue and suspense with plenty of action, magic and romance to keep the story moving.

I don't consider this a standalone book. You really need to read the series the order to fully understand everything that is going on

We learn more about their family line and the connection they have to the Fae. Blair and Jami should know by now you can never trust a Fae.

The ending was an interesting twist. Even though I hate cliffhangers, this one was very intriguing and seems like it could be really interesting and fun in the next book.

Lesley Parkin did a good job with the narration. Clearly spoken with a nice even pace. The accent she uses fits the story and characters perfectly. Her female character voices are good of coarse but there really isn't much difference between the male and female character voices. A bit more difference between the male character voices would have made the characters a bit more interesting. It feels like you are listening to one character throughout the whole book which gets monotonous after a while.

cliffhanger possible

I was gifted this audio ARC for a honest and unbiased review from the author/narrator.
Miranda Lynn did a good job with this book of fae. I believe you should read/listen to the first book. Now be warned there is a cliffhanger.
Lesley Park did a good job of telling this story.
I recommend this audio book if you enjoy stories about the Fae, you will probably enjoy this one too.

Overall good fae story.

Any additional comments?

To completely understand this book you must listen to the first and beware there is a cliffhanger ending. The characters are good the narration is good , but I felt like I knew what was gonna happen before the end. The book felt like it followed a formula that I read before in other books. But, if you enjoy stories about the Fae you will probably enjoy this one too. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator. This review is my honest opinion.

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I don't know what it is but I couldn't connect with the characters. This could be due to the narrator. I did not get the emotions of the character coming out of the narrator. I have to admit that it put me off.
The story line wasn't bad and others might like it, it was just not for me.

I Hate Cliffhangers

I got this book via audiobook boom. I did not listen to the first story so I was lost from the beginning. Although the story was well written. I missed so much because I had not read the first one. Jami, Devlin, Blair and Jack are the main characters. But to fully understand the story you must listen to the first book. This book also ends in a cliffhanger that made me growl. For such a well written story to end with the words run is very frustrating. The narrator was good nut the cliffhanger. i can't say enough how I hate them. When I listen to a book I want to come to a conclusion. The next book can continue the story but the one I am reading needs to end successfully even if there are no more books in the series.

A Cliffhanger Ending?

Any additional comments?

This book centers around a prophecy and saving Iona.

The reader is also given more background history on the female lead, Jami, and the male lead, Devlin.

The story line was filled with action, mystical creatures, and a race against time.

Lesley Parkin did well with the narration.
