Love this series

What a series ending. Victoria Quinn kudos to you for writing such a great series. Cal, Rome, Jackson, all the characters felt so real and relatable.
I absolutely adore Calaway, and Rome! The whole relationship from beginning to end was just fantastic.

And Michael and Lia beautiful narrated it!

LOVE THE CONTROL light side

I am not into the control issue, but I do enjoy reading about it. The series is great. It was hard to put down.

Dark

I do like a dark story at times this one have enjoying one minute hating the next. Cal is very dark and again loved him most of the time as for Rom well I found her rather petulant. Sure I get it she was a virgin but she was to learn of Cal's dark needs and wanted to just change him. We all know you just can't change people. She just wants everything her way. ( foot stomp) She wasn't a SAM or a brat really.
In the end I was happy with out come over all.

Great series

At first I wondered if I'd like it bit by the end I didn't want it to end.

FOREVER ROME AND CALLOWAY

This book was so amazings. I’m just sad now that it’s over. It’s bitter sweet, I will say that it’s been one heck of a ride, emotionally. I’m dying to tell what happens but I can’t. Gosh, I knew something like what happened at the end was going to happen but I never knew how intense it would be. Both narrators really put the true feelings of the characters in the voice on the audiobook. When Rome was being attacked, narrator Lia really made me feel the desperation. I was in tears. This relationship between Calloway and Rome really has gone through a lot and both characters have grown and learned to give and take. Now I think they could make it through anything. As far as the BDSM lifestyle, let’s just say Calloway gets his way somewhat. I’ll leave that part to your imagination until you read/listen to the book.

one of the best

this book series pushed my comfort levels. how ever it really was written well to help u understand each character the reasons they were the way they were. the length that they were willing to go to stay together. the narration the best love the 2 narrators in any book ive listened to them. they put alot of passion and feeling in to the words bringing the book alive. i enjoyed thus series so much i wish there were additional books commimg. but i dont think there is. amazing series great job to the author.

Obsessed with the Obsidian Series!

This was my first experience with Victoria Quinn's books and I wasn't disappointed. I was intrigued from the beginning and she kept me on the hook that I purchased the remaining 3 audiobooks in the series and binge listened. This was also my first experience with male narrator Michael Ferraiuolo and enjoyed his performance so much that I will continue to look for his work when looking for new purchases. Lia Langola did another excellent job with her performance, though I would have enjoyed the audiobooks even more if they were in duet style. The male narrator did so much performing of the females voice when doing an entire male POV chapter that I missed the female performers voice and felt she didn't get very much airtime. It did get a little confusing at times when they switched from male performer to female performer that performed the opposite sexes voices. I go so used to one performer talking in a certain style for the other sexes character, that when the opposite sexes narrating performer took over, I had to get back into the frame of mind to their performance style. But that's my only complaint, and it's not a huge one. I would LOVE if the producers took this into consideration and had the two narrators redo the recording in duet style and re-release the series. I think it could help boost the sales as this narrating style is becoming the preferred method to listen to dual POV audiobooks by avid listeners who spend lots of money purchasing hundreds to thousands of audiobooks a year, myself included (568 purchased so far this year).
