Publisher's summary

For generations the Eatons have been dedicated to teaching others. Now siblings Belinda, Myles, and Chandra are about to get some sexy, surprising lessons in love.

Lesson 1: Love arrives when you least expect it.

Belinda Eaton is dedicated to her job as a history teacher in one of Philadelphia’s most challenging high schools. Committing to a man, however, is not exactly on her agenda. Then a tragedy brings her closer to gorgeous attorney Griffin Rice, and they have to share custody of their twin goddaughters.

Griffin never saw himself as husband or father material, but suddenly family vacations and Sunday dinners with the girls are the highlight of his schedule—and getting closer to their smart, intriguing godmother is his number one priority. Can he teach her that their partnership has turned into a loving relationship powerful enough to last?

Not very exciting

The story was a bit boring to me and it did not help that the narrator was so monotone in her delivery. The only time I heard excitement was when she was narrating the twins. Also, to me it was pretty quick how fast they fell in love. It seemed like a big gap was missing there.

I love the soft love displayed in this series

I love how the author goes in depth with her series. Diving into the lives of each of her characters and evolving how all their lives are interwoven.

Poor narration

Story is very interesting but narrator is awful. I could only make it through the first two chapters. To her credit she does a good job with the children and grandmother. The female lead is ok but the male voices need improvement. Her voice is very flat reading the general story. She also has some trouble pronouncing words. Hope she gets some training

Great book

It was a perfect love story that I didn't want to end!!! Even though the characters seemed to be too perfect it was still a good read

Good Story Awful Narrator

She sounded like she was sleepy. Then she missed pronounced so many words through out the entire book. I don't think there was a consecutive 30 minutes without a mistake. She referred to the school teachers as the facility, instead of faculty more than once, mayoral (race for the mayor's office) she said murial, paternal, she said parental, and so many more. There was even once or twice where it didn't sound like a miss pronouncement but just the flat out wrong word. With her tone and her constant errors took so much away from this title.

Sweet romance

The performance by the narrator was amazing!! The story line was great too. The only thing unbelievable since I’m a Philadelphian is the fact Griffin and Belinda argue that Gene’s vs Pat’s cheesesteaks are the best in Philly. Lol! News flash both places are nasty as hell. Those are tourist spots. If you ever come to Philly try Ishkabibble‘s or Max’s cheesesteaks. Otherwise I love the story and wish it was a part two.

A sweet story.

It was a satisfying story. I enjoy her books very much, but the narrator was not great. Her voice was pleasant enough, but her pronunciation was off.
