When Kelly takes the most romantic vacation of her life with her boyfriend to Thailand, it seems like a dream come true. That is, until the constant bickering with her boyfriend leaves her frustrated, miserable, and ready to go home. Fed up with the vacation as a whole, Kelly tries to make the best of things by hoping at least some good would come out the miserable experience. Unfortunately for Kelly, one thing leads to another and a freak accident leaves her stranded in the Thai jungle, lonely, soaked, and full of regret. It isn't until she runs into a mysterious man that things begin to turn around. He leads her deep into the trees...revealing a hidden kingdom and the gorgeous prince that rules it. Not only that, but the prince has something unique about him...a secret even more mysterious.
This was an interesting way to begin a vacation fling. Kelly seems to be to clueless and desperate to attract any long term relationships right now. Our dear Prince is too good to be true -- but I adore him anyhow. This is a cute little story but just to short to get into everything that's going on in this book. I am definitely interested enough to listen to the next book in the series.
The narrator is okay but needs more bass in the male voices and shouldn't there be some kind of accent in Thailand. A little more authenticity would make this a better listen.
This listen was worth the reduced price I paid. I liked it enough to purchase the next installment, we'll see if I finish the series.
