by far one of my favorite story. must read. i just couldn't stop listening to it.

This was perfect. Plenty of sizzle, heart warming love story, great mystery, all tied together by a talented narrator. Best in the series so far. Thanks!

All I really can muster to say is Shayla Black knows how to write I have read multiple series that she has done and I fall in love everytime....

This has been quite the series

This series was written so time ago, but this was my first time listening/reading this series. i am glad have have read ithers about BDSM and this ine seems ridiculous in comparison. At least in this one while Logan had some bullying tendencies, it was not so far out of the realm of reality.

Yes, fuction a lot of time includes ideas of suspended life as we know it - aliens, instant love, etc. But if BDSM clubs worked the way thos one did, no sane person wouldIf the FBI ran an investigation this way, no crimes would be solved.

If total disregard for realism without true "fantasy" is your thing, you may like it.

Argh! The heroine is SUCH an annoying twit!

Production Quality:
Zero stars. This recording is old enough that it has been clearly ripped from a CD set, complete with an announcement of "This is the end of CD1 - the story continues on the next CD". If the producers of this audio book had the technological capacity to combine the contents of multiple CDs into one audio file, they should have been technologically capable of merging the files seamleessly. But they left that jarring announcement in. In the middle of a supposedly "intense" portion of a BDSM scene, no less!

Storyline:
An astonishingly gullible heroine with half the brains of a gnat, and an unbelievably "devoted" (read "creepily obssessed") hero... If I could rate it zero stars, I would.

Performance:
Couldn't rate above 3 stars, but even that is generous, considering the drivel the narrator Lexi Maynard had to work with.

Overall:
The book has what I generally like about Shayla Black - the hot sex scenes - at least, but outside of that this is unfortunately but truly a DO NOT BUY. I couldn't get even a few chapters in before I stopped listening in disgust and tried skipping ahead.

This'll teach me to buy erotica on Audible - at least with a paper- or e-book, I can easily skim chapters and pages. Not so easy in this format.

Well this took a turn, I enjoyed the back and forth from Logan and Tara. This book really took us on a journey and we really got to know who Tara is and why she was so resistant to Logan. We also understand why Logan is so closed off.

They really do help each other heal and figure out what works for them and why they needed to give each other a second chance.

I really enjoyed the narration to this book.

Dang! I am upset... worst book in the series!!!!

I am sooo pissed. I have waited and waited for Logan's story for sooo long.. Ever since book 3! Logan is suppose to be this great dom... even his house is all dom..ed out...but What the crap was this.

The whole FBI case was kinda stupid.. I just can't beleive this was Logan's story. CRAP!

Black is an awesome writer and the wicked lovers series is just awesome...then we get this... BOoo.. Black Booo.

Although I totally didn't like this, Maynard is one heck of a narrator.. She save this book on so many levels. I think I will still get the next one, just to wash my mind of this book.

If you like the WLS then credit this book. Don't buy...

Love Dom Logan !!! Story lacking....

I really like the Dom stories, and love Logan. Was anxious to hear his story. I felt the story was a bit lacking. Had it figured out before the end. I would prefer to wonder the whole story. Can't believe I'm saying this, however, had a bit too much smex and Dom details. Kind of got old and repetitive. Although I liked it, it was not my favorite of the series.

not as good has the first books in the series

This one just couldn't get me engaged...had a been there done that feel to it; Definitely average...could sence the ending before chapter 2 even started...this FBI agent lady is quite slow;
but then again, it is hard to focus with that Logan guy's up and under your dress all day.

Same some, third verse!

Even though I was disappointed with the last book, I just had to listen to Logan’s story. I felt so bad for him, during his brother’s book, I wanted to see Logan get his HEA.

Unfortunately, even though there subtle differences and twists and turns, the basic plot pattern is repeated again in this book. I know it must be difficult to constantly come up with new and original plots but I really lose interest is the same old same old. Honestly, if this book hadn’t been included in the Escape Package, I would not have spent a credit on it and even though I want to experience Tyler’s HEA, I’m going to have to wait awhile before listening to his book, I’m too annoyed the repeated pattern, at this point.
