Publisher's Summary

The words never came and they never left my mouth, instead I just pressed my lips against his and kissed him more passionately than I have ever kissed in my entire life. All of the pain, jealousy, and attraction that I had to hide from myself came bubbling to the surface and I couldn't help myself from finally giving in. At first, he was shocked by my embrace, but he began to move his soft lips against mine. He wrapped his arms around my body and leaned back, pulling me on top of him as his hands roamed over my backside. His touch was electric and he left a trail of goosebumps everywhere his fingertips grazed. I felt as if I were in a dream again.

His kiss grew deeper before he gently bit my lip. I moaned as he...

Decent Short Story!

Not bad for a quick story! A decent plot with some drama, attraction between the main characters and a one sex scene. I also liked the interaction between the main characters.

Theresa Stephens did a really good job on the narration!

I liked it a lot!!!

Any additional comments?

I was given this book in return for my honest opinion. I honestly like this book and narration was good as well. I loved the fact that Autumn was a do whatever she needs to do kind of girl. She was intelligent but who would have known until she decided to show it. She was rough aroung the edges yet still got the billionaire at the end. The book had so many different areas of interest and I just am a true fan of Kathleen Hope now. Loved this story, no female weakness over here.

Great short listen!

This was a great short listen. Autumn, the second rate granddaughter is brought to a party with her cousin, meeting Eli by accident. Eli is taken with Autumn and plans for his families to have dinner together. Once Autumn is a hit with his father, he comes up with a plan to have Autumn pretend to be his awkward brother, David's girlfriend. Autumn takes the job from Eli because she needs the money. While getting her into the social graces of their stuck up upper class, they fall for each other. It is a sweet romance, and I love the way Eli who is definitely part of that stuck up upper crust realizes how much he loves Autumn. There is a lot that can be expanded on in this family and I hope Kathleen Hope continues the saga.

Theresa Stephens provides a very good performance of this story.

Very good

This story was enjoyable. I wish it would have been a little longer. I want to know what happened next, maybe there will be another book.

This was a good listen , very cute story .I liked how the characters didn't take their families wealth as a reason to be rude .that they stood up to their parents when they knew that their petty ways were wrong.Short story but there was potential for more content for me . The narrator di a reasonable day . Glad I istened.

More, Please.

While this was another short and sweet, Billionaire Romance by Kathleen Hope, I both did and didn't like it as much as "Love After War" which I felt was over and complete when it ended. My inability to totally feel the love for "Beauty and the Billionaire" is mainly due to wanting more, so that's a good thing and a bad thing. Basically, the story is good enough that I wanted to see where it went, but instead, I felt that it was rushed and then just…..over. I wish it were long enough to really wrap everything up. I felt some connection between Eli and Autumn, but I wanted more. I really liked Eli's brother, but I wanted more of his story. I hated Eli's wanna-be ball and chain, Autumn's slimy boss and her crotchety grandmother, and my evil side wanted them to experience a bit of karma - for my amusement. So, yes, I liked it, but I saw a lost opportunity for me to LOVE it, and that leaves me a little disappointed. I really hope there is more to come from this particular cast of characters because I think they have the potential to have a lot of interesting adventures that I'd love to hear about.

Theresa Stephens is an excellent performer. I think she is exactly the right fit for this author. I love it when that happens. I received this audiobook in exchange for an unbiased review.

A lukewarm bland read

This short story began well then fell short midway. It needed more development in the story line and characters. It was so boring I struggled to complete it.
The narrator did a fine job.
