Publisher's summary

Lane Parker has suffered a terrible loss: a loss he can't get over, not even years later. Burdened by secrets he won't tell his closest friends and focused on only one goal, he finally gets the phone call he's been waiting for. Luck gives him a precious second chance to get back what was taken from him - and he'll use all his strength to make sure that the tragedy never happens again.

Raegan Hayes is a spirited fighter and survivor - and she's furious at Lane, her former employer, after their paths cross at a police station and he accuses her of betrayal. Now, they both must move forward to get past the tragic incident that tore them apart long ago. But the more time Lane spends with the beautiful Raegan, the more he becomes drawn to her...and the more his passion overpowers his hostility. Can a new beginning transform their relationship from suspicion-filled to steamy?

Too Good For The Theatre

... if they make a movie out of this series, it will be 10 times better than Twilight and 50 Shades put together easily ... #BookClub

Great series!

One of the best series I have ever read. Each book was great in itself but just made the total series much better.

Excellent book!!!

This book in the series is my most FAVORITE one...and I LOVED the first one with Emerson & Jackson!! But the whole story, the way Lane & Raegan loved one another and HOW they showed & expressed it, was my undoing!! The way Lane stood his ground about his feelings for Raegan even towards his friends when they were trying to somewhat persuade him that maybe they shouldn't per sue one another...he told them what he felt and thought, he fought for what he wanted!! Not that he had to fight for it with Raegan but just in general.

I absolutely loved loved loved Lane!! As well as Raegan!! She is a bad-ass heroine!! Protecting not only her child but someone else's just made me fall in love with her even more than I had already!! She is an amazing, loving & strong woman! She just inspires you and makes you love her!

The author Kimberly Lauren is a new author I haven't ever read until I came across this series and from the first book she had me! I read ALL 3 of her books within this one week!! She has some awesome skills as a writer, I can tell you that so far! ;)

Do not miss this series and if you can only read one...I would hands down definitely choose this book!!!!

3rd in a series not the best

I loved the first book, then the 2nd one was basically the 1st..this one was great until the last few chapters sex, sex on table, sex on wall, sex described vividly, it just wasn't needed for the end of a good set of characters. I was disappointed and when the end came it was nearly identical to the ends of the first & second in the series. Overall I loved the characters but could have done away with each description of each position of the characters sex lives.

great ending

Of the series, this book has to be my favorite. Learning about Lane was very interesting and his relationship with Kate was endearing. This story allowed the reader to see him grow as a person which was great. Always nice to know about everyone else too.

interesting book

I liked the plot of this book. It was an interesting story. I did feel that the end went on and on but but 75% of the book moved along well and kept my interests=)

narrator voice is bad

I love stories that gave children a happy ending and that's what makes me love this book. but the fact the the narrator voice for the male suck. when reading this book i picture the male as a strong person, but the way she reads it he doesn't sound like he's a strong person. I wish that they could of have a male reader read books 2 and 3 it could of make those audio book better.

Best in Series So Far

This was the best book in the series so far. Like all good new adult romances, there was angst, emotional growth, and tender moments. The two main characters were likeable - my favorite of the series. Even the narration was better this time. A good series.
