Bad narration takes away from the book

What would have made Bane better?

Better narration

Who was your favorite character and why?

Bane was a little more realistic

How did the narrator detract from the book?

long drawl and country twang from each character made my skin crawl

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Bane?

Crystal being so "stupid" and naïve

Crystal's Voice

Is driving me crazy. It is so whiny I couldn't listen to this book. I had to revert to reading it instead of listening. Before others go crazy I purchased both versions because my eyes get tired and listening really helps. Another great book from Mrs Jackson but I could not enjoy the audible version. As a previous reviewer stated Band's was excellent but the Crystal voice prevented me from enjoying the audible version. THIS IS ANOTHER BJ MUST READ.

OK

I've read the book and loved it. Unfortunately I didn't like the narrator's, female voices , they were not good at all. it took away from the story for me.

Very Enjoyable.

Loved just about everything from this book. Was my first read from you Brenda. I definitely will be reading more. I am thoroughly now engaged with the Westmoreland Clan! The narrator for this one really bright the story to life. The story was also well written. Simply loved it!

Finally, Bane's story and revisit with all.

Would you consider the audio edition of Bane to be better than the print version?

I have read most of the Westmorland books. I love the whole series. This was my second audio in the series and I did enjoy it as well.

What other book might you compare Bane to and why?

Anyone book in the series.
Which character – as performed by Sean Crisden – was your favorite?

Bane. He has been referred to so often in other books, he was really an anticipated character and story.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes.

Any additional comments?

This is a huge family of alpha males and females with strong mates necessary to have a successful relationship. Ms. Jackson is so talented to keep track of all the characters and still bring them in for a visit in the last of the Westmorland series.
I loved the plot. It wasn't straight out about sex and love making. It was soul searching and caring

AWESOME BOOK & STORY TELLING!!!

Where does Bane rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Bane ranks among one of the best books by audiobooks.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Bane?

When Bane stood up against the fake agents from Homeland Security and did not allow them to take Crystal, and then shot them, but didn't kill them.

Which scene was your favorite?

All of the love scenes and when Bane and Crystal were in the Outlaws home facing the fake agents from Homeland Security.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The moment that moved me was when Crystal was able to read all of the letters and cards that Bane kept for her to read, and Crystal made a memory book for him to look at. Then they both looked at each others items together. I felt that was the moment when their love was definite.

Any additional comments?

This book was awesome. I really loved the narration by Sean Crisden. I would have preferred hearing a female voice to narrate the female voices instead of a male, but it was still great narration. I have listen to this book at least three times since my purchase. The character voice chosen for Bane was great. I LOVE BADASS BANE!!!

Nothing new...

Particularly I did not care for the narrator's impression of Crystal. Other than that, this book was written in typical BJ fashion: EVERYBODY is fit, beautiful, wealthy, faithful, all the men are the women's firsts, they're always a step ahead of the "bad guy", well connected, successful...I mean this just isn't life lol. I will say her books are fun at best. Relatable? Not so much.

Bane to the Rescue

Mrs. Jackson does it again with another wonderful story of love, loyalty and longing. You will love Bane and Crystal's story. The highs, lows and suspense will keep you on the edge of your seat. Can't get enough of those Westmorlands.
