🔥 Hot DAMN 🔥

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

What an superb wrap up for Grant and Renata. They worked out the last of their intimacy and trust issues with some pretty sizzling, explosive, ah, encounters! Whew! What they thought was a battle to prove Grant’s innocence against all odds (and justification) for the murder of his father, turned into a dangerous race to destroy a well organized and hidden pedophile network that involved people with wealth and power. My favorite man ever, André Chevalier was a key player in this takedown, giving us a glimpse of his past and hopefully his story to come.

Roberto Scarlato does a french accent that is so believable that I prefer it over the obvious Frenchman Guillaume Dubois, who has portrayed André in other books.

👍🏻👍🏻TWO THUMBS UP!!!!

Awesome finish to a spell binding series....

OMG...I was on the edge of my seat many, many times. I laughed and cried (a lot), but couldn't wait to find out what happened next. This is a must read series.

I'm spellbound!

Firstly, this is not a standalone book, the series needs to be read in order.

Secondly, OMG what an ending to this captivating trilogy, each book has been better than the last and the ending was everything I could have hoped for and more.

While the themes of child abuse are disturbing, this is a taboo topic that needs to be talked about more and this series speaks of it in a respectful and realistic way.

I enjoyed seeing Renata and Grant both healing, coming to some much needed and important realizations and finding love and support with each other. The chemistry between them and the open and honest communication is beautiful and inspiring.

I cannot recommend the series highly enough.

The narration is excellent, the character voices are great and the delivery manages to convey so much emotion while staying true to the nature of the characters.

Conclusion to a Thought Stimulating Series

The "Abuse" trilogy was an erotic fictionalize story of abuse, healing and attaining justice. The introduction of a sexual surrogate stimulated my curiosity about the role of this kind of therapist. Normally in real-life situations professionalism would probably exclude the romantic involvement of the therapist with his/her client. Possibly the extensive education of the effects of abuse and how to heal both physical and sexual abuse could have flowed a little better with the storyline instead of being so obviously intensely focused on with involved explanations. The sex was fun and very descriptive. It was especially helpful the surrogate was open-minded and very sexual. Some of the sex seemed unrealistically pornographic. This made for erotic situations that really seemed inflated in expectations. I did, however, particularly like the openness and acceptance of creative sexuality as a normal part of two consensual adults' relationship. And, of course, as a woman, I loved Andre.

Oh the twist and turns...........

Avenge is the third and final book in the Abuse trilogy, and the author does a terrific job of tying up all the loose ends and answering all the unanswered questions from the first two books. I can't imagine listening to this book without listening to it as part of the series because the story jumps right into action from where book two ended. Although Grant and Renata's relationship and their incredibly passionate sexual encounters continue to develop throughout book three, the focus remains on discovering the guilty parties in the death of Grant's father and in the proliferation of the pedophile ring. I can't believe all the twists and turns that the author introduced and still managed to wrap up everything with a nice bow by the end. Grant and Renata finally revealed all their secrets, fears and inner desires to each other, and they are so completely in love and in sync with each other by the end of the book that the reader knows they have each found their perfect match in the other. If you enjoy an intriguing mystery and a deeply emotional and passionate love story, the entire Abuse Trilogy, and Avenge specifically, is the ideal choice.

Roberto Scarlato's narration is beautifully done. He narrates all three of the books in the trilogy, and that continuity helps transition from one book to the next. Scarlato handles Grant's alpha male personality equally well as Renata's ligher, more feminine character, and his French accent for Andre Chavalier is delightful. With the beautiful prose by Sex and the skillful narration by Scarlato, Avenge is absolutely worthy of an Audible credit.

excellent audio book and soul searching story

This book did contain a lot of hot sexual love scenes but what an emotional story. I must admit that the ending did bring some tears to my eyes.
