Real Life Qualities

Would you listen to Another Man Will again? Why?

Yes. Because truthfully this is a story most women will be able to relate to.

What other book might you compare Another Man Will to and why?

Maybe "After the Dance"

What aspect of the narrators’s performance would you have changed?

I like the 3 different female voices but t would have been better to have had the same thing for the male characters.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Certain parts of the different female characters parts were touching because you can identify with them.

The voices of the readers

Why did they make the turner parents and Rell sound like voices that are normally used for slaves. It through me off. The actual story plot was great.

Good story

Good well rounded story about every day life. The characters are realistic. The narration could have been better but it was still good.

I liked it

I listen and read tons of books. I’m tired of the same old drug related, death crap and looking for more close to reality and relationship type stories! This was one!

A Good Read

This was the first book I've ever read/listened to from Daaimah Poole. I will say it kept me listening and laughing throughout. I am from Philly so many of the landmarks mentioned instantly gave me a real visual. I could relate to something with each of the sisters and it brought out emotions I felt going through those same difficulties. I will suggest you pick this book up, you won't be disappointed!

these sisters felt like my friends

I really enjoyed getting to know Yvette Crystal and Dawn. Their stories were relatable and they were likeable characters. I feel like I would love to know what happens Beyond this book and I hope there is a sequel.

good book

no real unique story plot, just the telling of three womens lives as they struggle through dating. very relatable . the narration was great. idk why they used ghetto voices for some of the secondary characters but it wasnt annoying. I would recomend this book.
