Publisher's summary

Lessons hard learned last the longest.

Creswell Springs' biggest man-whore, Raider Hannigan, one of Angel's Halo MC's most notorious members, wasn't for me.

After years of him holding my heart, I had seen the harsh light of my reality.

Raider would never want me...or love me.

With a firm resolve to move on, I wouldn't give in.

Only one moment of weakness came back to bite me. Now I had a secret.

No one needed to know the depths of it all, especially not him.

Didn't want to love it but...

Raider was one of the characters I originally didn't like, but he grew one me bc of his love for Quin. The major reason I loved the book is bc of what happened to Tanner and Warren, not saying I loved what happened to them, but how emotional it got me. It actually made me cry, esp to see the love the mc has for each other. Another part are how the Vitucci series family is mentioned! I started with those books and was pleasantly surprised to see them here too! On to the next book~

Intense!

Things are getting hotter between the MC and the italians. Romance, better said unrequited love is all around.

Mid-series review after Book 5 of 8, smiling.

Each book has been short enough for me to finish in a day. Each has focused on a different couple's story while continuing the stories of previous couples in the background. You need to read these books in correct order to get the continuing story of what's happening for the club and MC family. The perfect series, in my opinion, would give a few more moments to past couples here and there as a way to keep the reader experiencing their HEA as an ongoing event, with tie-in to the new couple, of course. That would improve this series.

In Atonement, I would have liked to have had a detailed description of Quinn's debut 'on stage' (trying not to give a spoiler). Also, it has irritated me throughout the series that men refer to all women as 'females.' I've never heard the unclaimed club women referred to as 'sheep' before. It's actually a fair description of how they herd in whatever way the men send them, but regarding Quinn's sheep sisters, those sheep have claws!

Mafia factors entered the story in book 4, reminding the reader that these men who are loving and protective of their families can also be as bad as it takes, and more when those they protect are harmed. The mafia problem just increased in book 5, Atonement. I'm now very interested in The Vitucci Mafiosos, a 4 book series by this author. I'll finish the last 3 books in Angel's Halo in the next few days, then reevaluate the series.

Hot Hot Hot!

Best love making scene of the whole series, this was way too short it just started getting good and thrilling and then the book is over! I feel so cheated 😮 I want more of Raider and Quin, even though Quin narrators kinda of got on my nerves she sounded like a robotic. On to the next in the series 😉

I love this series!! I love the stories of all of the bikers and how each character grows through the series.

Good

I feel like this is the weakest one since the series grew really stronger thanks to Hawk's story. I was looking forward to Quinn and Raider. I wanted Raider to fall as madly as deeply as Hawk did. I didn't feel that. I'm not really looking forward to the Italian side of things in the next book; but as the stories don't delve too deeply into the action side of things, I doubt that will be a problem. I really like the Alpha-caveman aspect of the bikers rather than the politics tbh. That's not so interesting, especially as the Italian mob storyline seems to have come from nowhere. I almost feel like it's a crossover storyline from another series, which might be the case, but as I haven't read the crossover, it's just irritating. The same happened with Jet and FLick's actually; I felt like the band might be another series or something. Still, really enjoyable and I listened in pretty much one sitting!
