Publisher's summary

Aspen Reynolds has it all. Wealth, beauty, and a spot on the Forbes Top Ten Most Successful Women list. From the outside, she is perfect. Looks and status can be deceiving. All her life she has fought being the socialite her family has raised her to be. Now at twenty-eight she's at the top of her game, lacking the one thing she didn't know she'd ever want.

Accidents happen and lives are changed when Aspen is almost killed. Hank Jensen, the man who saves her, is a hard-working country boy from Texas. Hank is the polar opposite of the rich city boys she's used to. He's rugged, gritty, devastatingly handsome, and makes it clear that he wants her in his life and his bed.

Can two people from different worlds find a happily ever after?

WOW HOT!!!

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed this book. I had some problems with the timeline within but i was able to get past it. This book makes you want the same type of love and the ending will leave you with a big smile.

Thoroughly enjoyed the story. That darn cowboy Hank made me cry and made me fall in love with him.

Disappointed

This book started pretty good, sort of a strong woman, decent guy. Then at the end she turned into the same weak ninny most of the other books have. I am so sick of women who just take the man back after then did something stupid. Just welcomes the man back with no apologies or explanations.

Very disappointing

Sweet, Sexy and Romantic

Carlan’s calendar series had me on the edge of my seat and I was excited to hear another book by her. I almost put this one down because of some of the voice acting. First person voices were awesome but their portrayal of each other and supporting characters was not always what the doctor ordered. I stuck with it, though and 2-3 chapters in I got used to it and really enjoyed the story in the end. The sexy bits did not disappoint at all, either!

Narrator

The male narrator was almost enough to make this a disappointment. His accent was hokey and his female voice silly sounding.

Sorry I ordered this

The story is ridiculous as is the accents used by some of the characters. Really disappointed.

Kiddie Porn

The first time caveman Hank noticed Aspen on a NYC street he started to fantasize about hitting her. Evidently Hank only saw women as objects to be used and abused, which made it totally unbelievable that he would risk his life to save a mere woman.

Aspen was presented as a 28 year old business woman but acted like a stupid teenager who just discovered boys. Aspen moved a total stranger into her home then allowed that stranger to manipulate, dominate and control her body.

Rather than a passionate, adult love story, Angel Falling sounded more like kiddie porn. Hank was the stereotypical jerk who didn't respectful or like women. In fact Hank was an alpha jerk who couldn't enjoy sex unless he was hurting his partner.

Listening as Hank treated Aspen like an inanimate object was gross and disturbing, not erotic or romantic. It was sad and pathetic that Aspen believed she deserved such degrading, violent treatment. I quit listening after 3 hours and will be returning this disappointing book.
