Okay stories

This is a collection of short stories based on the wedding saying "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue". The stories are sweet. Older couples falling in love. The characters and plots are well thought out an written. I did find a big problem with the narrator. Her voices used for the characters were very annoying and her attempts at a male voice just doesn't work at all. It kind of ruined the books. Especially the second book of “Something New” by Sherry Derr-Wille. Thetone of the reading made the story seem to just drag on and on.

Contains 4 books......

“Something Old” by Lorna Collins

“Something New” by Sherry Derr-Wille

“Something Borrowed” by Cheryl Gardarian

“Something Blue” by Luanna Rugh

Sweet Insta-lovey Romances

Narration - Jean Ruda Habrukowich - Pretty Good - She has a nice voice and her males are really pretty good also. Really enjoyable to listen to her. The one thing that is a little weird is that this is an anthology, so you have four books with completely different characters, and very different ages, but when it switches, you have the same narrator. Not saying that's good or bad, I just had to rewind a couple times to remind myself that a new story was starting to mentally switch the gears.

The stories are four sweet romances the first being the "something old" the next being "something new" etc... with them all having the Silver Sixpence in common. The romances are a little bit insta-love, but that sort of goes with the "luck" or "draw" of the sixpence as it winds its way through the stories.

Each of these could honestly be made into full length novels in a four book series and they would probably be more enjoyable with more detail, plot and character development.

Sweet, enjoyable listen.
