Good story

This book had less substance than previous books in this series. It could be because Cillian kept to himself but I would have liked the family's final reaction to the agreement with Dimitiri.

Not as steamy

The third installment in the O’Malley Series is not a sexy, steamy & oh my goodness as the 1st 2 books. The story is more love & not as much sexy come get you some. I believe this book is a good lead into Sloan & Kiera’s stories, can’t wait to see the development of the O’Malley family!

A SYMPHONY OF SUSPENSE, DANGER, LUST & LOVE

Every time Cillian O'Malley walks into the Bar where Olivia works he feels drawn to her... but every time he tries to have a conversation with her she's snappy, argumentative and downright hostile to him. He likes the banter that builds up between them and just can't stay away... it's the only thing that stops his guilt and memories over his brother's shooting, how it was all his fault and how it should've been him. Olivia knows all about mob rules, gang culture and the secretive dangerous and violent world that Cillian O'Malley belongs to.... because she'd run away from it, is now hiding from it... and her Russian family that went with it.

So starting anything with Cillian would be crazy... no matter how good looking he is, how sweet he seems to be and how much the air between them sizzles whenever they're near each other and their banter only fuels the flames. But one night changed everything - Olivia came to Cillian's rescue and he knew, by the way she handled herself, that there was far more to the mysterious Olivia than a beautiful face and he was determined to find out what it was. However, all Olivia gave him was a few stolen minutes of passion and hot sex down a darkened alley when the attraction and sexual tension between them finally boiled over. What an enjoyable and action-packed dual POV listen this was as Cillian and Olivia went from being frenemies, to lovers, to each other's rescuers.... and finally to loving supportive partners. There was nail-biting tension, suspense, sex, passion, compassion and romance built into a sweet story that's set around Boston's underworld where your family name determines your enemies, where loyalty is expected and where violence is inevitable.

Worth a credit? Great storyline to the book which had suspense danger and a feel-good romance, was very addictive because these characters really drew me into their story, there was an interesting and loveable H/H, it had sex and passion and the narration was good. So YES another creditworthy addition to the O'Malley series.

Honestly

This book was great and the way the story continued from book 2 to this one was amazing. I love the story behind it and the twist. But out of the 3 so far that i have read this one was a bit slow paced. Definitely still an amazing read.
