Publisher's summary

Seventeen-year-old Veronica Smith has it all: a loving family, a funky car named Jezebel, and a plan to go to college after graduation. On the first day of senior year, she meets Dimitri Glenn - a mysterious transfer student with gray eyes and a mischievous smile who seems determined to win her heart. But there's something odd about Dimitri, leading Veronica to wonder if there's more to him than meets the eye. Before long she finds herself in a whirlwind romance that seems too good to be true - until a series of devastating events leaves her questioning everything. It's not until she chooses to think with her heart instead of her mind that she can rise from the ashes to learn the truth of their connection.

✫✫ 4 Stars ✫✫

I went into this book blind, it's Kim Holden - I didn't need to know what it was about to know i'd love it. While I can't say this book was a surprise to me because I figured out what was happening very early on I can still say I really enjoyed it. I loved how this book took place over many years and left nothing up for interpretation. I can't really say much more without giving away anything except the characters were all complex and I loved the family feel all of the relationships had. I would totally read the next one too if there was one ;)

The narration was great, I wasn't sure at first but she really fit the characters perfectly.

Another brilliant book by Kim Holden. I have never come across another author who leads you on such a beautiful journey through every emotion with her words.

Never disappoints!!!!

Wonderful once again. At first you think it will be a tale of childhood love but it turns out to be sooo much more. I highly recommend this book.

Incessantly

Loved it! I could feel all of the joy and pain throughout. The narrator did a great job portraying all of the characters and relaying the intensity of the words.

A Forever Love

This is the first book I have read/listened to by this author (and it's not because it's the only one she has out at this point) and I can not believe how great she writes and how well the story flowed!! I read a lot and a lot of different authors and I was only a little way into this one and I already knew she's going to become one of my favorite authors because holy cows can she write and tell a story. Kim led me to feel like I was a friend of Veronica and Dimitri's and right there with them through it all...the good times, the hard times and the incredibly sad times. This book has so many feels and so many emotions that jump out of the pages and into your heart that it's a little scary! I don't know how some authors can do it but Kim does and the only thing I'm sorry about is that I waited this long to read her books! I see a binge session coming on for the rest of her books (lucky for me there are only 4 more to read).

Veronica and Dimitri's story starts as most any teen romance would but it quickly becomes so much more than a teen romance. These two are destined to be together and as the story unfolds you start to wonder what their deep connection really is because there is obviously something more going on here. Kim doesn't disappoint as the story unfolds and I had a suspicion that it was going where it did in fact go, but that doesn't disappoint me in the least. This is a very unique story and was very much appreciated from the mundane romance stories out there that have so many similarities that at times you think you may have already read it when in fact you know you didn't.

The narrator for this book did a fantastic job of bringing Veronica to life and kept the story exciting and not monotone. She really had the teenage voice down with just the right amount of emotion.

High five doesn’t even cut it! High six!!!!!

I award this book the highest of fives, NAY, a freeze frame five!!!!!! Oh lordt. This is, (and in no way can I inflect through my keyboard the amount of enthusiasm this book deserves) the best book I have ever read/listened to. As my favorite TV character so eloquently says, this book is “LEGEND-...wait for it... and I hope you’re not lactose intolerant... because the second half of that word is... DAIRY!!!” Please please please Kim Holden continue with the series. You ripped my heart out and put me back together with this story!!! And the narrator *chef kiss* ovation debout!!! I fell in love with every character. This book takes you on an emotional ride!!!!!

Without spoiling it... I think I know who the Phoenix really is!!!!

Great Innoncence Read

What did you love best about All of It?

I loved the innocence of the romance. The ending was quite surprising so much to the point that I had to listen to the book again. Reading the book again, knowing the ending answered a lot of questions the main character asked as well as myself. Very good Read. Do yourself a favor and read this book! It touches all parts of the human soul.

What other book might you compare All of It to and why?

This book reminds me of the Time Travelers Wife.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

This would make a great movie.

Any additional comments?

I would love for this author to continue their love story in different scenario's based on what is revealed at the end of the book.

Emotional but worth it

Wow.
I became so emotionally involved in this book. About halfway through I became acutely aware of the reasons behind Veronica's dreams but the story was so well written and narrated it didn't matter that THAT element of surprise was gone.
To.me, this story was about living your life and loving those that happen to be a part of it.
I recommend it wholeheartedly.
